The Global Data Analytics Team is the frontline customer service provider for Bloomberg's Data clients. What’s the role?

Our Data Analysts are the front line of customer service for Data supporting both internal and external clients. As a Senior Director of AI/ Data Analytics, you will be responsible for:

• Create and implement the advanced analytics strategy to meet business goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Senior Vice President, Technical Services to provide actuarial services and analysis to the underwriting, claims, business development, reinsurance and finance managers.
• Introduce best practice actuarial science to the business process including premium rating
• Actuarial monitoring report to monitor portfolio performance on accident year basis
• Technical pricing and rate reviews
• Predictive analytics to assist other departments with decision making
• Develop awareness and understanding of actuarial analysis
• Put in place actuarial best practice
• Guide junior team members and make presentations to senior members of Business Units
• Undertake any other duties as may be assigned.

• Preferably with Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Statistics degree and currently pursuing professional qualifications from the Casualty Actuarial Society/Institute of Actuaries/Institute of Actuaries of Australia
• Should ideally be one to two years from obtaining the professional qualification above

• Knowledge and experience in general insurance actuarial practice especially in areas of premium rating, portfolio monitoring, reserving, risk/financial/capital modelling
• Statistical knowledge
• Good understanding of data, actuarial software and programming languages including analytics and visualisation tools
• Preferably with experience in a consultancy firm or/and general insurance company
• Ideally a minimum of 2 years experience in a general insurance actuarial practice
• Business oriented, able to suggest practical recommendations

Responsible for archiving of documents and packing them for storage. Part-time work arrangement is available.

Technical Skills:

• Manage delivery of projects through full EDC data management study life-cycle (with minimal guidance).

• Perform comprehensive data management tasks including data review, writing, and resolving data clarifications.

• SAE Reconciliation, Query management, Listing’s review.

• Develop and manage DM documents like Data Handling Plan (DHP), Data Review Plan (DRP), Data Management Plan for assigned trials, Manual Listings plan and validation.

• Case Report form design and review.

• Ability to perform EDC testing including test case creation, UAT.

• Work closely with the internal/external cross-functional team (CRAs, Project Managers and Statisticians) to ensure all the data related issues are resolved.

• Communicate ideas for process improvement. Assist in developing and implementing new technology. Understand and comply with core operating procedures and working instructions. Meet objectives as assigned.

• To undertake other reasonably related duties as may be assigned from time to time.

• Manage multiple projects, ensuring that timelines are met, and deliverables are of utmost quality

• Ability to liaise professionally with team members

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree, or educational equivalent, in clinical, biological sciences, or related field, or nursing qualification with 4+ years of experience in core Clinical Data Management.

• Supervise the loading, off-loading of goods from shipping containers and stacking of the goods in the receiving and dispatching area.
• Tally all goods and match them with shipping invoices and packing orders to ensure the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Requirments:

• At least 1 year of working experience
• Detail oriented and with special attention to accuracy and timely reporting.
