Required Skills:

• Programming: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala for data pipeline development.
• Data Technologies: Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, and Flink.
• ETL Tools: Experience with ETL tools like Apache Airflow, Informatica, or Talend.
• Databases: Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS (Redshift, S3, Glue), Azure (Data Lake, Synapse), or Google Cloud (BigQuery, Dataflow).
• Data Warehousing: Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schema, and data marts.
• Version Control: Proficiency in using Git for source control and versioning.
• Big Data: Experience in working with large datasets and distributed computing frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud related to data engineering.
• Experience in data streaming technologies like Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, or Azure Event Hub.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
