Responsibilities
Advanced Analytics:
- Develop and implement predictive models, algorithms, and statistical analyses to extract meaningful insights from large datasets specific to the Telco domain.
- Design experiments and conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for product enhancement.
Machine Learning:
- Apply machine learning techniques to optimise and personalise Telco product features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models into our products, ensuring seamless user experiences.
- Data Modelling: Build and maintain robust data models (community detection) for Telco-specific datasets, considering scalability, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance existing models (Householding and Business Community detection) to improve predictive performance.
Product Enhancement:
- Work closely with product managers to identify Telco market trends and customer needs, translating them into actionable data science projects.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve product features, user engagement, and overall customer satisfaction.
Communication:
- Effectively communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven track record of at least 4 years in a data science role with a focus on Telco competitive intelligence products.
- Strong experience in applying machine learning algorithms and statistical modelling in the Telco domain.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Hands-on experience with relevant machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, PySpark) and data manipulation tools.
- Domain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Telecommunications industry trends, challenges, and emerging technologies.
- Familiarity with Telco-specific datasets and data sources.
- Preferred Qualification: Experience with Location Intelligence, including geospatial analytics, GIS tools, and the application of location-based data in Telco products.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical findings in a clear and understandable manner.
