With access to national level medical data spanning clinical, imaging and omics datasets, our efforts are concentrated on harvesting the innate value of these rich datasets to improve cancer patient care and treatment delivery through the production of world-class research.

You will provide support and insights for DCS core multi-omics research and big data analysis computing infrastructure that focus on using next-generation sequencing (NGS), radiological imaging and other multi-modal datatypes to develop biomarkers predictive of clinical responses in cancer patients. You will be expected to wrangle and optimise large datasets and execute complex parallel computational pipelines to better understand the complexity of cancer progression and treatment resistance across multiple cancer types.

Data Analyst

The successful incumbent will be responsible for establishing robust data processes (collecting, analysing, and interpreting) and maintaining data integrity in support of the company’s efforts towards leveraging high-quality data for decision-making.

· Ensures accuracy, completeness and data integrity by performing data validation, cleansing and normalization procedures.

· Manages and updates databases, data warehouses and data repositories to ensure data accuracy, consistency and accessibility.

· Performs data migration and standardization.

· Implements data validation and verification procedures by performing regular data audits and quality assessments.

· Recommends process improvements and best practices in data management.

· Collaborates with outsourcing team on data processing.

· Collaborates with stakeholders to define data requirements and KPIs for analysis.

· Develops and maintains Power BI dashboards to transform raw data into actionable insights.

Requirements:

· Bachelor of Science in Business Analytics or equivalent.

· At least 2 to 3 years of experience in master data management or similar.

· Proficient in Excel, SQL and data analysis automation.

· MSSQL & PL/SQL development experience is advantageous.

· Demonstrates strong data analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Proficient in data visualization tool especially in Power BI for creating reports and KPIs.

· Knowledge of business processes especially in purchasing activities or supply chain.
