Requirements

• Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• Experience:Minimum of 10 years in data engineering roles with expertise in Hadoop, Spark, and related tools (e.g., HDFS, Hive, Ranger).
  Hands-on experience with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  Proven track record of building and scaling data infrastructure in large, complex environments.

Job Description:

• Develop data collection platforms (using Microsoft Power Apps) and/or data products (Microsoft PowerPoint reports, interactive Tableau dashboards).
• Support the integration of data sources into a central data repository system, including extract, transform, load (ETL) processes.

Job Title: Data Center Operator
Shift Allowance: $10 (Day Shift), $20 (Night Shift)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Security Clearance and Access Management:Process vendor and visitor security clearances for data center (DC) access.
   Escort vendors and visitors within the DC premises.
   
2. Alert and Incident Management:Monitor and respond to alert notifications, particularly after office hours.
   Raise incidents in the IT Service Management (ITSM) system and track them until closure.
   
3. Maintenance Support:Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearly maintenance activities, including building management tasks such as power shutdowns, air conditioning, and UPS maintenance.
   
4. Hardware Management:Coordinate and support hardware disposal, including hard disks, media, and backup tapes.
   Load and unload backup tapes and prepare them for off-site transfer.
   Maintain and update hardware inventory and rack systems.
   
5. Monitoring and Reporting:Conduct daily checks to ensure data center temperature remains within acceptable levels.
   Identify and report unusual device behavior, such as abnormal blinking lights or sounds.
   Prepare and submit daily and monthly reports for customers.
