Position: Driver for Construction

Job Summary:As a Driver for Construction, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting construction materials, tools, and crew members to and from construction sites. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the timely delivery of supplies and equipment, contributing to the success of our construction projects. In addition to driving responsibilities, you may also be required to assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive company vehicles, such as trucks and vans, in a safe and responsible manner.
• Transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to designated job sites.
• Follow assigned routes or adapt to changes in traffic and construction schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
• Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while on the road.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, reporting any issues to the Fleet Manager.
• Assist with loading and unloading construction materials as required.
• Communicate effectively with the construction team and project managers to ensure smooth logistics.
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details.
• Adhere to the company's safety guidelines and participate in safety meetings and training sessions.

Your Role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Interior Designer to handle sales enquiry and prepare design proposal for customers’ requirements.

What Will You Do

• To handle sales enquiries from customers.
• Able to manage 2-4 projects at one time.
• To understand homeowners’ requirement and prepare for design proposal and mood board.
• To prepare drafting of 2D spatial plan layouts.
• To prepare BQ quotations.
• To communicate effectively with client, vendors to address client's requirements.
• To work with Project Manager to ensure full onsite project completion.
• To coordinate with vendors to ensure the highest quality of onsite work deliveries.
• To accompany client to designated vendors for materials, accessories and furniture selections when needed.
• To coordinate with inhouse drafter and 3D team.
• To source reference material and research to ensure that materials and products are fit for purpose.

What Do We Want

• At least a Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or a design related discipline
• At least 1 year of experience in Interior Design or related field.
• At least 2 years of working experience in HDB or Condo construction.
• Strong knowledge in Space planning, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Having knowledge of AutoCAD will be added advantage.
• Able to demonstrate a basic knowledge of materials and their application.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Experience in Dry wall, Plastering, Tiling Works, Plumbing and Electrical

2. Supervise and manage of construction workers on daily site activities

3. Produce schedules and monitor attendance of team members

4. Compliance to safe work procedures and maintain good house-keeping

5. Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching

6. Ensure manpower and resources are adequate

7. Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met

8. Resolve and mitigate problems onsite

Requirements

1. Possess relevant BCA trade certificate, BCSS and etc

2. In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials and equipments

3. Able to communicate to clients, management and relevant authority

4. Core-trade Supervisor will be an added advantage

THE ROLE

• Familiar with structural and architectural drawings
• Familiar with BCA regulations
• Knowledge in Microsoft office and Sketchup
• Independent, Accountable.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $1,800.00 - $3,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Interior design: 2 years (Preferred)
• Able to work independently and in accordance to timeline provided
