Research by Design (RxD) at the Department of Architecture seeks qualified, interdisciplinary, and inspirational candidates with expertise in creative practice research (research through design, as opposed to research for design or research about design). We seek candidates with expertise in design with foundations in decarbonized & planet-positive futures, warming world futures, social justice, and inclusive futures, with a particular focus on being situated in the tropical geographies of Southeast Asia and the equator. Job Description:

- Perform Civil, Structural Analysis and Design (entry-level) to meet project specifications

- Coordination and Liaise with Clients, Authority and Other Consultants, Contractors on Projects

- Ensuring Good Project Documentation and Submission to Authority and Clients

- Attend Project Meeting and Perform Inspections on Designed Works

- Reporting to Senior Engineer

Job Requirements:

- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree / Post-Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil/ Structural) or equivalent, recognized by Professional Engineering Board of Singapore

- At least 1 Year (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position

- Good Working Attitude, Self-Motivated, Positive Thinking, Independent, Discipline, Attention to Details and Ownership of Tasks

- Familiar with Local Design Standard and Code

- Knowledge of Design Software, e.g., STAAD Pro, Plaxis, AutoCAD will be added advantage

- Candidate with longer experience or qualifications will be considered for Senior Positions

• Responsible for RTL design, simulation, and verification for ASIC/SoC products.
• Identify internal and external requirements, PPA study, RTL coding, implementation and work closely with backend team.
• Create reusable internal IPs for AI and/or in-memory computing products.
• Handle IP integration and validation and support post-Si testing and validation.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of RTL/SoC/digital design with pre-layout simulation and post-layout simulation experience.
• Strong knowledge with Verilog and system Verilog, VCS, Verdi or other industry standard tools.
• Familiarity with AMBA APB AXI Protocol, RISC/Arm or other core architectures.

• Prepare construction drawings (2D Structure drawings, bending template, profile nesting,plate nesting and material list) utilizing AVEVA Marine Drafting

• Extraction of Outfitting General Arrangement form AVEVA
• Prepare a wide range of engineering related documents such as plot plans, Key plan
• Extraction of Piping layout and Piping General Arrangement from AVEVA
