Our client is looking for a Piping Design Engineer to join our client's team to assist in the execution of various projects, focusing on Fire Protection Systems and Modular Skids. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with project teams to ensure smooth design development, documentation, and project milestones are met efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the project team in executing various projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop Fire Protection Systems and Modular Skids.
• Generate, update, and maintain technical documentation.
• Prepare and develop system P&ID and conceptual general arrangement drawings.
• Ensure coordination and progress of project tasks are on track by attending relevant meetings.
• Prepare drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and generate reports.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in piping design or related fields (fresh graduates may be considered).
• Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, 3D SolidWorks, etc.).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing mechanical systems and components, possessing strong analytical skills and a passion for innovation. You will be responsible for developing detailed designs and specifications for various mechanical systems, ensuring functionality, reliability, and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and develop detailed designs for mechanical components and systems using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
• Conduct feasibility studies and design reviews, ensuring that designs meet specifications and requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., electrical, software, manufacturing) to integrate systems and resolve design issues.
• Perform simulations and analyses (e.g., thermal, structural, fluid dynamics) to validate design performance and reliability.
• Generate and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design calculations, specifications, assembly instructions, and parts lists.
• Evaluate and select materials and manufacturing processes for components.
• Support prototyping and testing of designs, analyzing test results and iteratively improving designs as necessary.
• Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and regulations to incorporate new knowledge into designs.
• Offer technical support during the manufacturing and assembly processes, addressing any issues that arise.
• Participate in project management activities, ensuring designs are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of [insert number of years, e.g., 3-5 years] experience in mechanical design engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent) and experience with 3D modeling and drafting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in specific industries such as automotive, aerospace, consumer products, or heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) software.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for Electrical Engineering services for the projects from concept stage, design development, contract documentation, authority submissions, site administration to project completion
• Act as mentor to new employees and provide technical assistance
• Advise engineers on the project administration and contractual issues
• Conduct technical discussion on common design problems
• Assist in maintaining high quality standards of design and construction
• To promote esprit de corps amongst employees
• Responsible to participate and support the Company’s SHEQ within their scope of duties

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Accumulated around 6 years of experience handling M&E Engineering ideally in semiconductor or construction projects

• Working hours: 5.5 Days
• Salary: To be Discussed based on experience (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications).
