The Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department of National University of Singapore (NUS) is looking for applicants for research engineer positions to support 3D-IC package fault localisation and failure analysis (FA) techniques with ANSYS High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS). In 2021 the Singapore Hybrid-Integrated Next-Generation micro-Electronics (SHINE) Center was established.

One of the projects in SHINE focuses on developing the technology and demonstrating Radio Frequency (RF) and microwave applications on flexible substrates.

As part of this project, we have a position for a research engineer with proven knowledge and experience in researching, designing, and testing of microwave circuits and subsystems.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in the simulation and design of microwave circuits and subsystems.
• Experience with tools such as ADS and HFSS.
• Experience with measurement of microwave circuits using VNAs.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Open to fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibility

Requirement

Working in the engineering team, the senior network engineer have extensive knowledge and experience in installation, termination of network equipment (Copper & Fiber Outlet, patch panel and cable management). He/ She will possess hands-on experience in testing & programming of network switch, router, WLAN controller, AP and firewall. He/ she have relevant system architect in data center infrastructure design and implementation including server (VMware), SAN storage and network.

1. Take ownership of system design & implementation to make a truly access and complete of client requirements until full closure of the project delivery.

2. Conduct factory acceptance test in the workshop, providing FAT report.

• Perform route mapping and navigation testing
• Assists in setting up the servers and other peripherals needed for robot operations

I- Basic Function/General Scope of Work

The position takes overall responsibility of project management for all aspects (contract, commercial and technical) of the projects assigned. The position works closely with Project Manager so as to complete and achieve the projects’ objectives/ metrics as planned.
