Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the presales team to conduct site surveys and assessments. This involves evaluating the customer's location, infrastructure, and specific requirements to determine the ideal setup and deployment for the robot.
• Responsible for setting up, commissioning the robot on-site and ensuring the robot is ready for operation.
• Perform thorough testing, identify and troubleshoot errors/failures and implement appropriate solutions to resolve the issues promptly.
• Handle repairs and maintenance tasks for the robot. This involves conducting regular maintenance activities as per the SOP/guidelines and addressing any breakdowns or equipment failures.
• Travel to customer sites, both local and international (whenever necessary), to provide on-site support, conduct setup/commissioning, perform maintenance tasks, and resolve technical issues at short notice to provide support or address urgent issues. Additionally, you should be willing to adapt to the customer's work environment and schedule, which may include night shifts and public holidays when necessary.
• Responsible for documenting service and fault reports. This includes accurately recording the details of the service provided, issues encountered, and the actions taken to resolve them. These reports are typically submitted to superiors and key individuals within the organization for review and analysis.
• Maintain detailed records of all tasks related to customer service. This includes maintaining customer service logs, updating internal service records, and ensuring all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
• Train customers and end-users on the proper handling, maintenance, and safety procedures of robot operation. Create and update documentation, including user manuals and service guides, to facilitate knowledge transfer and enhance support processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering or other related fields
• 2 years of experience in servicing electronic and mechanical equipment / machines.
• Experience with troubleshooting and debugging hardware, electronics, and software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills in English (both oral and written)
• Tools: Basic knowledge on handling mechanical, electrical and electronic tools.
• Able to perform simple network configuration.
• Able to work independently and as part of a harmonious and effective team.
• Able to communicate well and tactfully with customers/distributors.

Job Scope

• Prepare schematic design, site installation layout, calculations, technical reports and specifications etc for automation equipment panel.
• Liaise with external consultant teams, contractors and suppliers to resolve project electrical design issues.
• Generate BOM and RFQ document.
• Communicate with contractor for automation equipment panel fabrication.
• Prepare factory acceptance test document for automation equipment panel.
• Responsible for liaising with Project Manager on automation equipment panel acceptance before ship to site.
• Provide support on site installation.
• Updating of Circuit diagram, Control device and Equipment Installation layout.

Datacenter Operations Engineer

The Leaseweb APAC team is growing quickly and looking for talented individuals to join us. Our Data center Operations Team is involved in the daily management of our current 6 data center facilities in the APAC region (Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong and Australia) and we are about to open 3 more data center location in Singapore, Japan and Australia later this year. You will be responsible for the configuration and installation of the servers during the provisioning process in our data center in Singapore, and other data centers in the region as needed. You will also be assisting customers with the installation of network equipment in more complex designs.

Key responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration, relocation, and removal of server equipment at the data center
• The assistance of customers within data centers (for customers with their own racks/servers)
• Upgrade/downgrade of server equipment (memory/hard disks/etc.)
• Replacement of hardware and handling of all relevant administrative matters.
• Testing servers and server equipment in accordance with standards
• Work with remote hands partners within the APAC region to support installation and/or adjustment of servers.

Requirements:

• At least one year of hands-on experience working in a data center with servers
• Knowledge of various operating systems, especially Linux
• Knowledge of Hardware (Servers, Switches, KVM, Hard Drives, Memory etc.)
• Basic network knowledge (adjusting DNS/IP/Netmask/gateway/etc.)
• Certificate or degree in Computer Science or similar discipline preferably with an emphasis in Technology
• Professional and effective communication in English
