Job Requirements

• Master’s/bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering/Mechatronics Engineering with 2 or more years of experience in high-mix-low-volume manufacturing
• Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals, including design principles, machine elements, materials, and fabrication methods.
• Proficient with CAD, ProE/Creo/Solidworks.
• Good Understanding of the Pneumatics, Computers, controls systems and sensors involved in Electromechanical stage/Robot.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to support technical issues, set-up experiments, and perform data analysis.

The Electrical Engineer will work with Project Team in carrying out the following:

• Conduct project electrical engineering works
• Prepare project electrical function specifications, electrical layouts, PLC IO list and wiring diagrams
• Conduct electrical products selectivity study and generate project electrical Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Generate Request For Quotation/ Offer and Purchase Request for electrical BOM.
• Prepare project electrical installation documentation with technical support for installation work
• Prepare electrical inspection test sheet/ template for test and measurement
• Evaluate and implement corrective measure on test result
• Prepare project specific electrical product operational and maintenance manuals
  

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Polytechnic Diploma in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience
• Professional Experience: Preferably with experience in airport, intralogistics projects electrical engineering design. Fresh graduate will also be considered in case-by-case basis.
• International Experience: Experience working in cross-cultural or international teams as added advantages.
• MS Office, EPLAN P8, AutoCAD and Navisworks CAD Tools
• LEW as added advantage.

Functional skills:

• Good knowledge and practical experience in electrical engineering design (e.g. Power Distribution, System and Equipment electrical control, cable containment system according to IEC and SS638:2018).
• Efficient in MS Office, EPLAN P8, AutoCAD and Navisworks CAD Tools skillset
• Understand IT networking infrastructure and hardware
• Must be willing to travel within Asia region with occasional traveling to Europe or Middle East
• Experience in simple PLC programming will be an advantage
• Experience in Material Handling System will be an advantage
• Experience in Brown field project engineering will be an advantage

• Lead/participate in planning process transformation projects
• Support Demand Supply Match, mitigate supply gap related to Backend network and provide solution.
• Highlight capacity risks and opportunities within tactical horizon
• Response to demand upside through structured analysis, cohesive network efforts and driving capability to enable upside.
• Work with Site teams to match WIP to backlog to meet customer commit metrics
• Understand and implement site loading/optimization within the pipeline horizon.
• Deploy tactical strategies across AT network that supports Micron’s Strategic Objectives.
• Primary interface to Supply Chain team for Tactical AT issues and operations.
• Team with Capacity team to drive strategic changes to the AT network
• Understanding end-to-end supply chain and the down-stream impact of demand and supply fluctuations
• Applying exceptional analytical skills and tool experience (Excel, Pivot Tables, Access, etc.) in support of this role
• Communicate effectively with Supply Chain, Site Planning and Order Promising teams.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Production Operations Management or Supply Chain related
• At least 2 years of experience in Planning, Supply Chain or Subcon Manufacturing experience
• Excellent Communication Skills
• SAP and Supply Planning Optimization (SPO) tool knowledge (advantage)

• Process Optimization: Analyze and improve existing spray-painting process to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize defects. Implement innovative solutions to optimize workflow and increase productivity.
• Production Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with production managers to develop production schedules, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of assembled components.
• Tooling and Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and performance of spray equipment and tools. Coordinate repairs, modifications, and upgrades as needed.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve spray-related issues, such as over spray/under spray, color tone issue and equipment malfunctions. Implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives for continuous process improvement, including the application of lean manufacturing principles and other optimization methodologies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of components and timely resolution of design-related challenges.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of spray processes, work instructions, and production reports. Generate regular reports on production performance and key metrics.
• Training and Skill Development: Train and mentor assembly/spray technicians on best practices, quality standards, and proper use of equipment to maintain consistent and efficient assembly processes.
• Health and Safety: Champion a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines and promoting safe work practices

Requirements

• Diploma or Engineering Holder
• 3 years relevant experience in spray painting operation.
• Knowledge in spray paint processes, machine set-up and operation
• Knowledge on plastic manufacturing processes.
• Computer literate in Microsoft office.
• A pro-active team player
