• Plan, implement, and sustain systems and processes to incorporate software frameworks/tools into existing CI/CD pipelines with the associated security requirements.
• Plan, implement, and sustain a penetration / stress testing regime for all products, including desired cybersecurity performance metrics. Lead DevSecOps engineers to be executed said regime (or do so personally).
• Apprise senior stakeholders of actionable cybersecurity insights.
• Formulate plan for corrective action to ensure all products become secure (should they be not satisfactorily secure). Directly modify code and educate developers if required.

2. Able to provide zero trust architecture products/hosting/networks if required:

• Research and be the subject matter expert on zero trust architecture, in the context of various air gapped systems.
• Devise roadmap for the long-term development of this capability, identify required resources, talents, and bureaucratic dealbreakers.
• In due time, implement and sustain said roadmap.

3. Product teams embrace and understand cybersecurity by design, and know what takes to CI/CD products that meet various levels of security requirements:

• Periodically review code/features of each product to identify adverse security trends and to apply corrective re-education and/or action if needed.
• Influence the developer and product manager training roadmaps through stakeholders to ensure that required cybersecurity competencies are included.
• Be the standards bearer for DevSecOps engineers, periodically review DevSecOps performance, hone and train if required.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience with cybersecurity consultancy or related scope of work
• Passion in driving for DevSecOps (and/or DevOps) transformation

• Experience with architecting using cloud providers like AWS, GCP, Azure

Duties:

• Must have service provider industry and data center technician knowledge..

• Deploy, configure, and support a large-scale production and corporate network and server infrastructure in data centers, Point of Presence (POP), edge, backbone, datacenter, and content delivery network (CDN) infrastructure.

• Provide onsite network support and expertise on local data center campus and remote support for POP sites while working with local vendor support staff • Schedule and perform network maintenance, repair, and upgrade tasks as needed while limiting the impact on the production network • Calculate and document equipment power requirements and work with Engineering, Facilities Operations, and/or collocation vendors to meet these requirements.

• Work closely with Network Engineering, Logistics, and equipment vendors as new equipment and technologies are integrated into the production network.

• Work with network provisioning engineers to turn up new circuits and engage and escalate with vendors to troubleshoot out-of-service or faulty circuits.

• Queue Management for tasks and incidents, participate in ongoing DC/POP deployment projects • Use internal tools and scripts to configure, monitor, and repair servers and network equipment • Develop internal documentation and conduct training as needed or appropriate • Proactively contribute to documentation, automation and processes as they evolve • Follow, improve, and implement data center and POP best practices • Participate in on call activities and follow escalation process to support the infrastructure 24/7

Skills:

• The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience in data center deployment, building large-scale infrastructure, and providing support for Linux based servers and Network devices.

• Experience in shell scripting and knowledge of Python and Perl.

• Experience with Enterprise and Service Provider network hardware platforms and architectures including routers/switches and data center switching platforms.

• Strong competence of routing and switching technologies and protocols including TCP/IP, STP, VLAN, VRRP, CDP, LLDP, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, and MPLS.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations and utilize troubleshooting skills, systems and tools, and creative problem-solving abilities under pressure • Proficiency in Linux operating system and experience with load-balancing technologies • Experience with field-based work in POPs, carrier hotels, or Central Office environments.

• Ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environments with limited supervision • Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organization skills • Experience with IPv6 and familiarity with scripting languages is strongly desired • Certification such as CCNA, JNCIA, RHCT or equivalent experience preferred.
