Roles & Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities:

Planning and organizing construction projects, including developing project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.

Ensuring that all construction work is carried out in compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements.

Managing project teams, including architects, contractors, and other stakeholders, to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Monitoring project progress and making adjustments as necessary to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Collaborating with architects and other stakeholders to develop project plans and specifications.

Developing and implementing quality control procedures to ensure that construction work meets the required quality standards.

Providing technical guidance and support to project teams, including architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Maintaining accurate project records and documentation.

Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success

Review and approve project plans, specifications, and contracts

Requirement:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management

Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Proficiency in project management software and tools

Experience in managing large-scale construction projects

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans

Knowledge of budgeting and financial management

• Supports the construction team for all design matters.
• Reviews all technical documentation and drawings of the Project works.
• Works closely with the Consultants on the designs and project deliverables to enhance site efficiency and constructability.
• Understands and familiar with Authority approval/clearance of works including URA, BCA, LTA, PUB, etc.
• Manages design approval process and coordinates with the Clients and Consultants in a timely manner to resolve all technical issues.
• Ensures strict compliance of the design in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Ensures the distribution of all the approved and latest drawings and other relevant documents to the relevant parties.
• Prepares shopdrawings with in-house BIM team and obtains approval in advance to site installation dates.

• Supports tender team and prepares technical tender documents as per specifications for bidding of civil and structural engineering projects as and when assigned.

JOB SCOPE

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review master construction program and preparation of catch-up program, if applicable.
• Monitor and supervise Engineers / foremen, ensure compliance to the quality procedures & standard of workmanship. Checking on quality and quantity of work by subcontractors.
• Preparation of detailed program for the site team to follow accordingly & completed in time.
• Resolve drawing discrepancies & technical difficulties with Technical team.
• Preparation of detailed method statements and work instructions for construction.
• Coordinates between sub-contractors / vendors / internal departments and monitor site manpower / material / equipment demands to meet schedules.

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Support the Campus Construction Manager and the Construction Project Manager(s) during the construction of the multi-phased data center project at the assigned geographical location(s).
• Monitor and control budgetary spending and billings as well as assist with the development of capital project budgets and forecasts.
• Review and negotiate with the contractors and vendors all change orders, cost savings strategies from ROM development to final price approvals.
• Support the on-site inspection processes and commissioning as required by the Construction Project Manager.
• Actively work to mitigate project risks through proactive planning and partnering.
• Work closely with the Procurement Department on equipment procurements, FWTs, deliveries, storage, startup, troubleshooting, and support warranty work as needed.
• Serve as POC for all ICM Leadership visits preparing presentation materials, scheduling meetings, and handle the logistics of these visits.
• Manage the Guard Building, SOC, and Administrative space build, coordinate with end users, and communicate schedule turnovers and deliverables to all stakeholders.
• Manage all warranty and “Day Two” projects with the Facilities team in the operational data center spaces.
• Provide training as needed to project team members in regard to the construction project administrative systems and controls.
• Align with the contractor to develop the content and presentation for the turnover Hot Wash session with the facilities group.
• Provide weekly status reporting in the areas of Financial, Schedule, Quality, Safety, and Culture for leadership consumption on the site wide program.
• Provide construction consulting services to local Ops team and other cross functional departments.
• Occasional travel to our ICM headquarters or to internal summits not local to your work location will be expected (approx. 15% travel).

ACMV engineer is responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines needed to complete a ACMV project. He/she works to plan projects, establish project criteria, coordinate project reviews, and ensure the proper implementation of project elements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Manager and site personnel in planning, execution, and completion of ACMV projects.
• Attend site tests and inspections to ensure quality standards and all health & safety requirements are adhered to.
• Supervise and liaise with relevant authorities, subcontractors, and workers on site to ensure quality standards and all health & safety requirements are met.
• Assist in the preparation of progress payment claims and variation orders as required.
• Analyze, manage, and track project costs against budget.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
• At least 3 years relevant experience in project management, preferably in handling ACMV and within construction industry
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Experience and relevant knowledge in ACMV calculations including heat load, pump size, air flow rate, chilled water system performance, chiller sizing and configuration, fan sizing and more.
• Good interpersonal skills and pro-active in problem solving
