Position Summary:
You will be one of the key contributors to the technical and field service business under Thermo Fisher Scientific. You are encouraged to meet service financial goals, service results metrics and expertise to deliver the outstanding response to Thermo Fisher Scientific customers in Singapore.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Β· Perform on-site installation, validation and commissioning of Ion Chromatography (IC), High Pressure Liquid Chromatography(HPLC) and Sample Prep (SP) instruments.
Β· Perform on-site troubleshooting, servicing, preventive maintenance and repairs. Provide on-site customer training
Β· Process escalation and warranty claims timely and accurately to resolve service issues.
Β· Collaborate with multi-functional work teams such as field applications, customer support/services, product management, manufacturing and marketing/sales. Build and maintain service information in the company database Timely and expertly handle field service calls and issues arising from the field service visits
Β· Timely complete and submit all required paperwork and other miscellaneous duties commensurate with the capabilities of a Field Service Engineer.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
Β· Diploma / Degree in Engineering / Chemistry or a related field with minimum 2 years of hands-on service and troubleshooting experience on IC and/or HPLC and/or SP products in similar field and industry.
Β· Candidate without experience are open to apply

Β· Effective communication/interpersonal leadership skills
Β· Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
Β· Strong performance track record.
Β· Proficient in the use of relevant technical equipment with an inherent ability to learn new product services rapidly.

Β· Able to work independently with limited supervision in a multifaceted environment
Β· Able to work under timeline and deadlines
Β· May need to travel within SEA
