• Work closely with other service providers in the hospital to be part of the team to create a safe andsound environment for the patients, staff and visitors, especially ISS House Keeping and Portering team to demonstrate the strength and capability of ISS’s integrated service model to be productive, efficient and effective.
• Constantly engaging the client and end users to seek feed back, gaps and improvementopportunities through survey and dialogue.
• Responsible for overall customer and end users relationship management while exercising costcontrol monitor and measure with the awareness to generating additional works to enhancemargin.
• To stabilize the team during upon operations and continued to seek improvement in theorganization structure and operations process to improve supports to the hospital.
• Manage relationship with all specialist sub-con and contractors appointed by the hospital toachieve the required KPI, client’s expectations and deliverables in the contract with SingaporeGeneral Hospital.
• Be part of the team to management energy saving and initiatives.
• Identify engineering issues and trouble shooting to response to end users’ request. Resolving andmitigating potential engineering problems and potential cause to system breakdown. Work closelywith the Central Operations to tackle engineering problems.

• Responsible for all major mechanical and electrical and instrumentation equipment
• Lead a team of technical executives/technicians for troubleshooting works
• Manage the purchase of major supply and repair items alongside with supervision and execution of preventive and condition monitoring of major electrical equipment
• Handle hands-on preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance work
• Coordination with clients and subcontractors to meet the site/project requirements
• Carry out rectification of faults within a specified time
• In-charge of troubleshooting of M&E system
• Responsible for planning, execution and supervision of all facilities management and operational activities
• Responsible for project cost control and service standards
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
• 3-5 years of relevant working experience
• Technical knowledge of M&E systems(including, but not limited to, fire protection systems, AV systems and ACMV systems) is an added advantage
• Able to perform shift work if required
• Preventive Maintenance Troubleshooting

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• ensures all drawings, bills of materials, purchase requisitions and quality checks are completed as per project schedule and ISO 9001 & 14001 processes.
• conducts design reviews to analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.
• confers with customer representatives to review specifications and answer questions pertaining to installation of systems.
• supports during manufacturing, assembly, de-bug, and customer buy-off.
• writes technical reports, manuals and technical support documentation
• performs a wide variety of additional functions to meet project schedules and product deliveries
• reads, understands, and acts upon mechanical drawings including piece part and assembly drawings, work instructions, and procedures
• determines manufacturing methods, techniques, and procedures as required to perform tasks as required for to ensure designs perform as required
• designs test fixtures and setups as needs arise
• communicates with vendors to support procurement and to address issues
• Responsible for any other role as assigned by the Project Manager

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or an equivalent degree in related technical field desired
• 3 to 5 years relevant experience in mechanical engineering and material handling systems across various industries.
• AutoCAD and solid works proficiency
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principle involved in production of precision technical drawings, and models
• Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to design and production
• Knowledge of design principles, steel and aluminum part creation, sub assembly and pneumatics.
• Ability to work independently in designing and liaising with customers on technical specifications and requirements
• Participate in and effectively communicate in group discussions and meetings
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• MS Office proficiency
