Requirements

• Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Marine related projects on Navigation Communications Systems and Radars (Fire Contol & Surveillance) will be advantageous
• Possess both project management and man management experience

Job Description

• Prepare project management plan and its sub-plans, such as: work scope statement,
schedule plan, manpower plan, tools and equipment plan, procurement plan
• Provide engineering support in project or plant maintenance
• Coordinate internal and external audit review
• Engineering calculations associated with current carrying capacity of cables, wires,
fuses and other circuit protective devices.
• Procedures for inspection, testing and certification of electrical fixed installations.
• Industrial hazards, safety and health precautions, and environmental concerns.
• Installation practice and regulations, and relevant codes of practice.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Responsible for in-depth data analysis to look for sighting that is detected from reliability testing on certain cell marginality.
• To work closely with cross functional team to drive for cause, cell mechanism understandings and mitigation plan (device and process) when sightings of cell marginality are noted.
• Look into volume reliability data to probe data correlation to look for signals for cell metrics/kill limit recommendation to guardband intrinsic reliability capability.
• Enable proactive methodology for cell reliability analytic study on both die and wafer level assessment using advanced product-dispo techniques.
• Enable proactive methodology for defectivity (DPM) reduction at wafer level using advanced product-dispo techniques.
• Develop state-of-art and advanced algorithms, encompassing advanced models to boost and enhance data-mining and pattern recognition for quality and yield improvement.
• Work with Product/Fab/Engineering teams on product issues (yield/cell/qualification/defectivity/RMA/deviations) in problem analysis, data-mining and modeling, to provide optimal disposition solution.
• Implement and validate product-dispo solution with minimal yield impact and to track effectiveness of solutions.
• Develop understanding of test flows and product-dispo framework and make use of big Data to highlight strength and weaknesses in production process and improve quality of material produced with lower cost and faster cycle time.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong drive and excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate complex technical ideas/concepts.
• Knowledge of Python/MySQL/ C programming will be an added advantage.

• Direct and supervise draftsmen in developing detailed construction drawings as per applicable codes.

• Monitor and maintain critical data centre infrastructure, including power distribution systems (UPS, generators), HVAC systems, fire suppression systems, and access control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on data centre equipment and systems.
• Respond to alarms, troubleshoot issues, and ensure prompt resolution.
• Liaise with the building landlord to coordinate maintenance schedules, address building infrastructure issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Support off-office hours activities, including responding to emergency alarms, performing on-call duties, and coordinating with vendors for emergency repairs.
• Ensure strict adherence to data centre physical security procedures.
• Follow documented incident response procedures, track incidents to closure, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Generate reports to management, including monthly performance reports, incident summaries, root cause analyses, and status reports on ongoing projects.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in data centre facility management.
• Experience working in a 24x7 mission-critical environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in data centres.
• Experience with fire suppression systems and access control systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have prior experience working in data centre operations in financial institutions.
