The Technical Lead will be a key member of the data engineering team. He/she will support the delivery team in designing technology solution to help address complex business and process challenges in client organisation. He/she will ensure the proper and smooth implementation of the technical design.
Job Responsibilities
· Collaborate with project team and client to determine business requirements and environment.
· Provide guidance and quality assurance of development-related project deliverables such as performance, scalability, usability, security, integration complexity and operational costs.
· Assist in proposal development, proof of concepts and provide proposal cost estimation.
· Engage stakeholders to explain the rationale of architecture’s selection, technology choice and integration solutions.
· Provide support and clarification to data engineering teams if there are queries on the technical specification.
· Identify opportunities to improve productivity and optimise / automate processes via the adoption of new technologies or other means.
· Help resolve technical problems as and when they arise
· Coach, develop and supervise team members.
Job Requirements:
· A minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
· Managed at least 2 to 3 end-to-end data warehouse / data lake / data visualisation implementation
· Possess 5 or more years of Enterprise Data Management experience.
· Proficient with at least one of the following technologies: Informatica, SSIS, SQL Skills, SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Data Warehouse, ETL Framework.
· Possess excellent knowledge about: Power BI, Qlik Sense, MicroStrategy, SAS and Tableau. Preferably possess a good knowledge of AWS/Azure services, Hadoop Ecosystem, Data APIs, Unstructured Data and Data Modelling.
· Able to lead multiple teams and effectively work under pressure when there is an escalated demand in project lifecycle.
· Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills covering colleagues, partners/vendors.
· Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.
· Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and delegation skills.
