Responsibility and Duties

• Designing & develop software application that meet automated machine specifications.

• Collaborate with Mechanical & Electrical team members to integrate software components.

• Applying mathematics, statistics and Machine Learning to problem-solving initiatives.

• Creating innovative solutions to meet our company’s technical needs.

• Applying best practices and standard operating procedures.

• Maintaining comprehensive records of software design and development.

• Support oversea technical agents and end users in troubleshooting on site systems.

• Continuously updating skills and knowledge to adapt to evolving technologies.

Requirements

• Degree, Masters or PhD in Computer Engineering/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics or its equivalent.

• Proficiency in C++ or C# programming on Windows environment.

• Knowledge in OOP design pattern, developing multi-threaded software.

• Programming experience in SECS/GEM communications or machine vision applications.

• Good understanding of Robotics modelling / Machine Vision / Machine Learning / Deep learning concepts is an advantage.

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer with expertise in PLC design and programming to support the testing and commissioning of equipment and machinery for the food & beverage and chemical industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and program PLC systems for automated equipment and machinery.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning to ensure system functionality and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customized automation solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to clients during and after project implementation.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Automation Engineering, or related fields.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley, or similar).
• Experience in testing and commissioning industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of automation systems in the food & beverage or chemical industries is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.

Your Responsibilities: -

• Generate detailed mechanical drawings based on project requirements and specifications.
• Ensure that all drawings meet the correct specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with customers to understand their specific needs and gather feedback on the initial drawings.
• Follow up with the assembly team to ensure that they have the necessary drawings and information for the project.
