Job Scope
General Manager Engineering is a direction and controlling officer. He will be reporting to the CEO
and in-charge for the efficient administration and control of all project aspects.
Review client-provided requirements and technical specifications and prepare detailed technical
concept & Budget for Engineering Projects. Collaborate with team members and with customers
throughout the processes, ensuring the thorough preparation of both technical and commercial
proposals.
Responsible for dealing with project activities, right from conceptualization to execution, involving
finalization of technical specifications, scheduling, manpower planning, procurement, vendor
development, progress monitoring, site management, etc.
Possess a high level of independence, initiative, accountability, cultural sensitivity, endurance and
adaptability, demonstrates excellent leadership to drive projects and is a team player.
Work closely with Internal team members, Vendors & Contractors to identify opportunities for
operational improvement and cost efficiency.
Ensuring business compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Oversee day-to-day operations, Delegate responsibilities, enforce all policies, procedures, standards,
specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values.
Report to Directors on business development matters. Stay informed about the latest trends and
developments in the South East Asia market, including economic conditions and the competitive
landscape.
Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion in Singapore and oversea markets in SEA.
Develop strategies to optimize operational efficiency, and ensure alignment with the company’s
global objectives and regional business needs.
Perform any additional responsibilities as delegated by the Director.
Candidate Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent.
At least 15 years working experience in Industrial Automation, Projects with at least 10 years in
Mechanical Design and 5 years in Project management experience.
Has extensive experience with handling Manufacturing & Production lines Design, Installation,
Commissioning, and turnkey automation Projects.
Minimum 10 years of relevant development or project management experience in the execution of
projects, with the ability to encourage the creation of solutions appropriate to the needs of business
units, shareholders.
Oversee the implementation of multiple project portfolios activities.
Working knowledge of human-resources processes.
Proficient in both MS Office, MS Project and AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor.
Required extensive travelling in SEA Region.
