What are my responsibilities?

· Carry out / support the design and implementation of an Integrated Traffic and Plant Management System (ITPMS) for Road Tunnels and integration with other sub systems including Traffic Control and Surveillance Systems (CCTV, AID, VMS, LUS, VSLS, TFS, ERB etc), Communication Systems (PA, RBBI etc) and Plant Management and Control Systems (PLC, RIO etc).

· Perform requirement analysis to convert requirements into work packages and then into system design.

· Ensure the design meets the customer requirements, international and national standards and regulations and adhere to company safety and legal standards.

· Coordinate with the design team and ensure effective communication and collaboration between team members.

· Coordinate with customer, other contractors, involved authorities, system assurance, 3rd parties and R&D teams.

· Carry out / assist in interface definition/control documents, test documents, BIM drawings and other documents required by the customer.

· Carry out / support the implementation of the ITPMS system in accordance with the approved design specification and service level. Perform testing activities and assist in the implementation of all required technical solutions.

· Execution of acceptance tests for equipment and systems.

· Reporting of the implementation progress (technical functions, approvals, customer acceptance).

The Corporate Director of Technical Services (MEP) is part of the Design and Technical Services team who collectively make design and strategic decisions pertaining to the brands and properties of Capella Hotel Group. • For new pipeline projects, participate in the initial conceptualization and development of the hotel program, oversee the design, product development and construction progress in accordance to the standards stipulated in the specific hotel brand in accordance with the Pre-Commencement Services Agreement.

The candidate will be able to rapidly establish themselves as a quantum computing technologist in the broader domain of Financial Services.

The position will be based in Singapore.

• Lead and contribute to original research, based both on your own ideas and relevant areas of the bank that may benefit from advanced computing methods
• Forge strategic alliances with academic and industry luminaries, collaborating to solve complex computational problems tailored to intricate domain challenges
• Engage and build relationships with business units across the bank to test and implement quantum solutions to solve real world business computational challenges
• Author research publications and see them through the publication process (e.g. Quantum, APS Journals, Springer Journals, Nature Journals, etc)
• Communicate progress and disseminate results both internally and externally
• Lead / support grant proposals together with academic and business partners
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for your area, provide knowledge sharing sessions and thought leadership

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field with demonstrated quantitative background
• 2-3 years post-doctoral experience in either industry or academia
• Experience in quantum algorithm development and application in the areas of optimization, machine learning, or complex simulation
• Published research in at least one of the aforementioned topics
• Demonstrated communication of scientific results at research conferences or other colloquia
• Familiarity with quantum computers and implementation of quantum algorithms on such hardware
• Programming experience in classical and quantum algorithms. Expertise in Python quantum SDKs (qiskit, circ, etc)
• Desired Qualifications
• Familiarity with convex and nonconvex optimization
• Familiarity with tensor networks and their applications to function approximation and many-body simulation
• Programming experience with CUDA on GPUs
• Familiarity with Julia and Matlab
