JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Sales leads, manages and oversees the room sales, room reservations & event sales for the hotel, ensuring maximisation of revenue. The Director of Sales collaborates & aligns the management team and extended teams to develop & implement strategies that are financially viable for the hotel; and in return, achieve profit & product leadership. This role requires a sales focused leader who understands hospitality sales, reservations, revenue management, and event planning & execution.

Job Description

1. Manage the performance of assigned countries by leading implementation of optimal in-country activation with Distributors to deliver on expected sales and profitability/cost targets for each country.

2. Conduct regular in-country business reviews, monitor current and planned activities to accurately track, forecast and report the performance by country in order to support achievement of set targets or initiate changes needed to meet expectations.

The Director, Global Supply Chain Sustainability is responsible for providing leadership and management of Samsonite’s supply chain sustainability program in support of Our Responsible Journey, the company’s global sustainability strategy.
