The Role:

The Director, Evidence & Policy is a leadership role within the APLMA Secretariat, responsible for guiding Secretariat’s work to raise the visibility of the malaria elimination effort in Asia Pacific through strategic, evidence-based policy documentation efforts. The Director will ensure the organization's policy positions are well-informed, insightful, and impactful; and will lead projects and teams working on analysis and document generation. The role will provide oversight to a team working to develop briefs, white papers, case studies, peer -reviewed documentation, Op Eds, and other policy and advocacy materials. Responsibilities:

Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Master's degree in public health, policy, development, or business administration
• Candidates with Doctorate degree will have an added advantage
• Minimum of 12 years’ experience in policy and advocacy work in global heath & development
• Experience working with Governments and/or key bi- & multilateral agencies, preferably in the Asia Pacific region
