- Lead the digital activation capability for 10 Asia Pacific (AP) markets, powered by a highly talented 15+ member Digital Activation Centre of Excellence team
- Drive the execution and implementation of the Consumer Activation Hub and Omnichannel HCP Engagement. Support Asia Pacific markets through digital operations to drive commercial value – revenue growth and expense efficiency.
- Drive change management through execution in partnership with commercial teams to develop and implement phygital, data-backed approaches with Health Care Consumer journeys and lead channel activation across digital & social, focussed on Vaccines, Pharma & Immuno-Oncology therapy areas.
- Enhance patient access by developing and executing a true-omnichannel approach that leverages digital tools & platforms, social media, and partnerships to deliver best-in-class HCP & Patient experience across the AP region.

In this role, you will lead the 15+ member Digital Activation Centre of Excellence in the Asia Pacific Digital, Data Analytics and Innovation team (AP DDA) and will help our company drive growth in oncology, pharma and vaccine franchises by spearheading the digital solutions and capability implementation, across 10 AP markets (South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Philippines, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Singapore-Malaysia, Australia-New Zealand & Vietnam).
AP DDA is a part of MSD’s Human Health Digital, Data & Analytics (HH DDA) team. The HH DDA team spans over 80 markets across the globe and focuses on leveraging digital technologies, data analytics, and advanced analytics techniques to enable data-driven decision making and innovation within the healthcare industry. WHAT YOU WILL DO
As the Digital Solutions and Capability Lead, you are responsible for leading teams to drive and execute key functional deliverables across:
Digital Solutions and Omnichannel Operations
- Collaborate with business unit marketeers & cross functional teams to facilitate digital data integration.
- Drive HCP omnichannel activation through digital campaigns, leveraging various channels, to engage and influence healthcare professionals and enhance healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.
- Optimize HCC activation for digital ROAS (Return on Ad-Spend) through actionable analytics & insights
- Support EDA (Exploratory Data Analysis) through digital frameworks
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) to Own-&-Steward Taxonomy roadmap to maintain data integrity & efficiency.
- Track & report experiments and predictive media & content with A/B testing, Bandit Testing etc
Digital Content Toolkit Capabilities
- Lead digital content strategy, developing innovative creation tools (e.g., modular content creation software, interactive patient education platforms) and fostering vendor collaborations
- Manage digital publishing (e.g., enable toolkit and insights for marketing teams to create promotional videos, patient education materials while ensuring content governance)
- Centralized digital asset management for streamlined distribution across various stakeholders, ensuring the right assets are accessible to the right people at the right time
- Build, Monitor and Track Digital Connected Journeys with partners and innovators, and ensure implementation of robust tracking systems and analytics that allow for real-time HCP/ HCC engagement and enables optimization of campaigns for enhanced activation, healthcare activities and patient outcomes.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
To be successful in this role, you will have strong experience in ideating and implementing 0 to 1 strategies with an early stage / growth stage startup/ entrepreneurial mindset, and an innate joy to celebrate and learn from failures.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in leading P&L-led digital and social media projects across various channels and capabilities, with subject matter expertise across marketing domains (Consumer Understanding, Content, Channels, Media & Optimization) and digital domains (Paid, Owned, and Earned), with management experience in leading diverse cross-functional teams across markets
- Passion for Digital, Data, and Analytics tools and technologies. Deep understanding of Asia Pacific markets. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, with an ability to synthesize data/insights into actionable business recommendations backed by Structured problem-solving skills and analytical rigor
- Capability to communicate, collaborate and drive adoption and change across a range of local, regional, and global functions, with the empathy and sensitivity for cultural differences and can rally teams to action and outcomes
- Strong project and people management skills, with intellectual curiosity and the ability to create a vision as well as execute complex initiatives in matrix structures and a get things done attitude
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Business, Marketing, Communications, or other-related disciplines; an MBA from an accredited university is preferred
