JOB SUMMARY

You will oversee the production and publication of the company’s award-winning annual Sustainability Report and all other public ESG disclosures; present the company’s ESG performance and field queries from investors and other financial stakeholders. You will also be responsible for coordinating the company’s external and internal sustainability reporting to ensure that our reporting reinforces our sustainability and community engagement strategy and aligns with best practices globally.

With exceptional writing skills and a world-class understanding of the ever-changing ESG disclosure environment, the post-holder will also help the company stay aligned with the regulations of the Singapore Stock Exchange and international expectations on reporting and transparency.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for ensuring the company is positioned for and responsive to the growing expectations among internal and external stakeholders for transparent reporting on our environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives.
• Ensure the continued tracking and measurement of progress across ESG goals, engagement with the ESG ratings firm community and production of formal and informal reporting initiatives (e.g., sustainability report, website, intranet, ad hoc inquiries, etc.)
• Develop, implement and manage data collection processes and track performance against established targets and metrics.
• Collaborate with Strategic Communications & Branding team to develop sustainability content for the annual Sustainability Reporting.
• Monitor reporting standards and best practices to ensure the company continues to report and disclose information consistent with industry best practices.
• This role requires strong project management skills and must collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and outside vendors/auditors to ensure the timely and successful delivery of key Sustainability reporting deliverables on time.
• Lead discrete projects to strengthen the company’s corporate reporting and disclosures.
• Monitor, assess and recommend to leadership appropriate actions in relation to ESG disclosures and corporate reporting to ensure the company adopts best practices.
• Contribute to the submissions for sustainability indices such as CDP, SPOTT and similar disclosures.
• Prepare reports, communications, and establish systems including training of teams to contribute to reporting and disclosure/understanding the benefits and requirements.
• Lead the company’s responses to questions or statements of position from external stakeholders on sustainability-related matters and collaborate closely with investor relations on appropriate responses.
• Represent the company in local and industry sustainability initiatives especially those related to ESG disclosures and corporate reporting.
• Manage the sustainability content on the company website.
• Include automation and AI where applicable to bring digital transformation in reporting and data collection processes.
• Reimagine how we share the sustainability narrative through storytelling in ESG reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the relationship between Fujitsu and its selected AMS partner

Requirements and Skills:

• 3 to 5+ years strong experience working as a Service Delivery Manager for SAP Application Maintenance and Support & Project engagement in a medium organization
• Must have SAP Functional (Logistics module) or Technical Consultant hands-on experience in SAP Projects or Maintenance Support services
• Have experience in managing customer's stakeholders such as business users, IT managers etc., as well as external contractors or partners

Corporate Relationship Development

• Establish corporate contacts through a systematic outreach process, follow up on new business projects generation opportunities, maintain working relationships and set up meetings
• Pitch initiatives to corporates, specifically in positioning and securing business projects for our respective MSc programmes
• Scope the business projects with the company, establish an understanding of the objectives, guidelines for workload, deliverables, resources and financial support

Administration of Management Practicum

• Collate a list of business projects, disseminate to our respective MSc students for enrolment, and where needed, conduct interviews for the allocation of projects

• Coordinate coaching workshops/classes to prepare students for their undertaking of business projects
• Work with Heads of Departments in appointing project supervisors, including briefing faculty advisors on the role, responsibilities and scope of projects

The Southeast Asia-Pacific (SEAP) Regioncomprises six country programs: Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, and Fiji, reporting to a regional management and fundraising office in Singapore. This has recently been created as a new ‘super-region’, following the merger of two former regions of Southeast Asian Archipelago and Melanesia. The new region now encompasses the Coral Triangle; a global centre for marine biodiversity with extraordinarily high integrity coastal reef ecosystems. The extensive Southeast Asia and Pacific Island archipelagos harbour outstanding species endemism in both their coastal and terrestrial realms, combined with vast marine jurisdictions. Position Objectives:

The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) seeks a dynamic and motivated individual with excellent communication and organizational skills to support the regional management of WCS’s SEAP program. This is a rapidly evolving and growing program with a diverse and expanding portfolio of donors, partners and projects. The region presents a set of complex conservation challenges to biodiversity and their habitats and WCS field programs are addressing these through a number of initiatives including protected area management, community engagement, sustainable livelihoods, policy reform and sustainable financing.

Job Summary:

The Regional Program Manager (RPM) will directly support the SEAP Regional Director and work in close coordination with the Regional Business Manager and Grants Manager, and field program leadership. The primary objective of the RPM position is to ensure central coordination support to the regional and country programs in grant proposal, management and report development, donor compliance, knowledge management, implementation tracking and internal communications. The RPM will fulfill a key role in program management, managing workflows, and information management for the SEAP regional team and help ensure excellent coordination with the rest of WCS Global and Corporate to facilitate and support WCS's mission in the region.

Overall responsibilities:

• Provide effective coordination and operational support to the SEAP Regional Director and team (including Regional Business and Grants Managers and country program teams) to successfully manage a growing portfolio of grants, related processes and workflow for the region.

• Support the SEAP Regional Director and team in the building of collaborative relationships with central WCS Global staff (including in New York and Europe), particularly on grant management, fundraising and partnership management, communicating the interests and priorities of the regional program with the global program and partner departments.

• Supports strategic partnership-building with government, donors, and WCS stakeholders, in coordination with the Regional Director and Country Directors, as appropriate.

Specific Tasks & Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Support the SEAP Regional Director and team in building collaborative relationships as a focal point for SEAP programs with the wider WCS Global team

• Work with the SEAP Regional Director and the central Global Resources and Grants, Management & Compliance team to review and implement funding strategies to meet agreed funding objectives and targets, and ensure sound grant management and compliance.

• Communicating regional program priorities and interests to the global program and partner departments; ensuring coordination, management, and support to the region.

• Provide effective coordination and operational support to the SEAP Director and regional team to successfully manage a growing portfolio of grants, related processes, and workflows.

• Conduct research and analysis of suitable mix of conservation donors to increase understanding of the donor environment in the SEAP Region as well as long-term perspectives and preferences.

Program Development and Management

• Support field teams, as needed, with the development of funding project workplans

• Oversee a Monitoring, Evaluation, Adaptation and Learning (MEAL) approach to support program implementation

• Provide support to various WCS departments (HR, Safety and Security, etc.) to ensure alignment of and communication of policies and procedures across the region

• Assist HR teams in the development of Terms of References, contract review and with selection and onboarding of new staff to the program where needed

• Support Regional Business and Procurement Managers in the development and review of contracts where needed

Proposal Development, Reporting & Grants Management

• Under the guidance of the Regional Director, and in coordination with the Regional Business and Grants Managers and Country program teams, support proposal preparation and donor reporting.

• Work closely with the Regional Grants Manager to ensure the monitoring of grants for compliance with WCS’s policies and procedures as well as donor / government / external rules and regulations.

• Liaise with the Regional Business and Grants Managers in process mapping and assist with improvement of standard procedures and control of workflows.

• Under the guidance of the Regional Director, and in coordination with the Regional Business Manager, support and coordinate high level project monitoring and host regular meetings with Program, Project, Management, Evaluation, Adaptation and Learning (MEAL), and the Regional Management teams to ensure performance on individual grants is tracked effectively, risks and issues are flagged and corrective action taken as appropriate.

• Ensure knowledge management by maintaining good project documentation and archiving.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A Bachelors or Master's degree in a related field (international relations, development, social or natural sciences or similar), or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 8+ years professional experience.

· Proven successful grants management skills, ideally with EU, US and/or other bilateral donors, including proposal and report writing, but also workflow management and compliance.

• Ability to multi-task and deliver high quality outputs sometimes within short deadlines.
• Experience working, coordinating and collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including partner NGOs.

• Sales of products and solutions through specialized knowledge of the products, along with deep understanding of customer needs.
• Follow up on customer payment status, support in procurement, inventory analysis, and resolving shipment issues.
• Perform cost-benefit analysis and Support Management on budget preparation.
• Proactively communication and work with all stakeholders to provide customized solution based on customer’s requirement.

Requirements:

• Preferably bachelor’s degree in electronics/ Mechanical Engineering or Business or equivalent.
• At least 3-6 years of experience in electronics/semiconductors Optical Communication, Optics, or other related industries
• Demonstrated sales record, the initiative to acquire new customers, recommend solutions and execute sales is required.
• Technical and product knowledge of electronic devices/machinery is preferred.
• Knowledge of the latest market and business trends
• Data analytics skills to harness financial data to inform decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and excellent presentation skills
• Fluency in English and Mandarin are required to communicate with supplier/customer from China or Taiwan, knowledge of Japanese is also an advantage for communication with counterparts from Japan.
• Able to travel frequently for business
