The Role

This position will work with Asset Managers in leading all aspects of design development works, including overall development management of new developments and existing assets across different sector classes ranging from commercial, retail, residential, industrial and logistics projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Conceptualise all development design requirements including preliminary massing, schedule of areas and specifications and formulate design briefs to ensure that these are aligned with the Company’s development strategy.
• Manage and control the development of design concepts/options, pipelines for the projects and to ensure these options/concepts are delivered on time and meet the Asset Manager’s Requirements.
• Manage the design consultants and liaise with all relevant authorities to meet the Company’s development strategy and Asset Manager’s requirement.
• Accountable and responsible for the management of the design development process from inception to completion.
• Ensure that the design meets the required quality and in compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance.

Job Requirements

• Master and/or Degree in Architecture.
• At least 8 years of relevant design development experience in the execution of Commercial, Retail, Residential, Industrial and Logistics projects, with the ability to draw, design and articulate key construction details for the building.
• Candidate with experience in Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, or Vietnam projects is preferred.
• Technical skills in Autocad, Revit, Sketchup, Adobe in Design, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Rhino, Grasshopper.
• Knowledge of parametric design and ability to write scripts would be an advantage.
• Technical skills in producing and developing architectural details and specifications.
• Seeks continuous improvement to design and processes through consistently challenging the status quo or value engineering the optimum solution to all aspects of the development.
• Ability to encourage the creation of solutions appropriate to the needs of Business Units, shareholders and environment.

This Digital Marketing position reports to the Directors/Co-Founders of the Company and interfaces with the organisation’s Marketing and Product Development/R&D Leads.

Specific Responsibilities

Individual to be involved in/be given exposure to:

1. Assist with design, planning and execution of eCommerce and direct channel sales and marketing strategies

2. Conduct market research and analyse market needs and trends, including performance of regular top competitor analysis, ensuring recency of information, market/industry sizing, analysis of trends in customer preferences, identification of market trends and identification, and mapping of selling channels.

3. Assist with the coordination of order processing, delivery and returns of customer orders across all sales channels

4. Monitor sales, promotions, marketing and social media programmes, and activities over digital platforms

5. Assist with analysis aimed at improvements in our internal reporting and performance monitoring to drive more accuracy, better insights and more streamlined processes

6. Ad hoc analysis for stakeholders throughout marketing and e-commerce campaigns

Technical Skills and Competencies

1. Degree/Diploma in Marketing/Business/Digital Marketing/Arts (with 3 - 5 years of experience delivering marketing analytics insights for mid-career applicants)

2. Retail and/or e-commerce experience would be advantageous

3. Expert Excel skills and other analytical tool familiarity would be preferred (SQL, SAS, BI Tools, etc.)

4. Expert-level knowledge of Google Analytics; other analytics and testing tools is a plus (Facebook analytics, etc.)

5. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to articulate clearly and effectively in person and in writing

The Digital Editor is an essential member of the Digital team, ensuring that CNBC International’s website outputs the highest quality and standards of Asian news stories, market updates, videos and features to engage CNBC’s audience of investors, business leaders and industry stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Edit developing news and longer, analytic pieces and features accurately, ensuring that written content is reliably sourced, clear, compelling and accessible to lay readers
• Act as a hot-seat for CNBC.com, managing and updating the content on the site in real time by exercising strong editorial judgment and knowledge of business and financial news
• Curate the website by selecting the most relevant stories from wires and partners
• Swiftly and accurately write breaking news headlines to send as push notifications when confirmed or verified
• Occasionally write stories on a variety of subjects including financial markets, business trends, economics and central bank policy, geopolitical or political economy stories that have business and investment implications
• Make sure stories, features, video descriptions and interactive content on CNBC.com are of the highest quality and published in a timely manner
• Communicate timely and clearly with CNBC teams across countries and platforms, including TV, to ensure coordination of stories
• Produce original CNBC stories and wire copy in the content management system
• Assign work to other members of the APAC team and coordinate production to ensure the website is updated at all times
• Deputize for senior editors when needed
• Monitor and assess the performance of CNBC’s digital content using analytics tools, and move and reposition stories accordingly.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Extensive knowledge of CNBC’s editorial and programming priorities, with a strong interest in financial markets, economics, technology, and politics
• Strong understanding of global financial markets and the interconnections between events in different economies and markets
• Proven capability to perform full and substantive edits under tight deadlines, including reworking leads, refining story angles, ensuring editorial balance, and restructuring content to enhance relevance and appeal for CNBC’s readers
• Expertise in writing sharp, compelling headlines and copy editing/proofreading, with a keen eye for identifying and correcting errors, typos, and inconsistencies
• Good multitasking and prioritization skills to manage a wide range of tasks effectively under tight deadlines while maintaining composure and efficiency in a fast-paced news environment
