Roles & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and perform detailed analysis of operating costs & profitability against budget/forecast across all processes in the factory and provide recommendations of practical measures to reduce cost(FP&A).
• Coordinate and communicate across relevant processes to conduct budget, forecast, and analysis and strategic planning for top management & HQ in Japan.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, to provide recommendations to optimize business processes.
• Monitor monthly expenses/marginal profit and business profit result to enhance organizational effectiveness by getting the organization become more result focused.
• Perform cost management activities throughout the company and provide analysis on cost behavioural pattern of business operation.
• Thoroughly evaluate the processes together with process owners in order to generate cost saving measures and drive improvement in productivity.
• Review operating expenses critically and provide recommendations to top management based on facts and findings.
• Utilize data analytics and conduct thorough analysis of market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behaviour to identify opportunities and threats. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on performance against targets.
• Lead & carry out weekly & monthly meeting with top management & Japan HQ management.

Requirements:

• 10 years & above working experience in manufacturing industry, including at least 3 years at managerial position. Candidate with experience in unique manufacturing environments is a plus for this post.
• At least 5years of related working experience in Finance/Budget/Forecast Planning/Month end closing/Bad debt reporting.
• Strategic thinking, ability to translate business vision into reality, decision maker, assertive personality.
• Able to effectively work under tight deadlines.
• Meticulous and good analytical skills.
• Must be computer literate: A very thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel in analysis and forecasting; and produce professional Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.
• Knowledge in ERP is an added advantage.

The Engineering Project Manager will apply project management best practices to drive efficiency, mitigate risks, and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution:Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals and client requirements.
  Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  Oversee and track project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Resource Management and Coordination:Coordinate with engineering teams, procurement, and other departments to ensure appropriate resources are available and efficiently utilized.
  Lead project team meetings, facilitating communication and collaboration across disciplines such as process, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering.
  Identify and address potential bottlenecks, reallocating resources as needed to maintain project momentum.
• Risk Management and Quality Control:Identify potential project risks, conduct risk assessments, and implement mitigation plans to address schedule or budget issues.
