Job Summary:

The Engineering Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. This role involves coordinating across various engineering disciplines, managing resources, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals. The Engineering Project Manager will apply project management best practices to drive efficiency, mitigate risks, and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution:Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals and client requirements.
  Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  Oversee and track project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Resource Management and Coordination:Coordinate with engineering teams, procurement, and other departments to ensure appropriate resources are available and efficiently utilized.
  Lead project team meetings, facilitating communication and collaboration across disciplines such as process, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering.
  Identify and address potential bottlenecks, reallocating resources as needed to maintain project momentum.
• Risk Management and Quality Control:Identify potential project risks, conduct risk assessments, and implement mitigation plans to address schedule or budget issues.
  Ensure all project activities comply with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and engineering best practices.
  Conduct regular project audits and performance evaluations, ensuring that project deliverables meet quality benchmarks and client expectations.
• Stakeholder Communication and Reporting:Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, clients, and contractors, providing updates on project status, milestones, and challenges.
  Prepare and present project status reports, including performance metrics, financial summaries, and risk assessments.
  Manage client expectations, addressing questions, concerns, and any change requests promptly and professionally.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
• 8+ years of experience in engineering project management, preferably in [specific industry, e.g., oil and gas, manufacturing, construction].
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and project controls.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, practices, and project lifecycles.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Fully responsible for the MRO operations at site (Buying, sourcing, stores and inventory management)
• Achieve agreed KPIs (Safety, compliance, Stores management, sales and business developments)
• Deliver customer’s contractual commitments, including Price and Engineering Benefit Savings, Inventory Reduction, and Logistical Cost Reduction
• Identify, implement, and manage consigned stocks within contractual commitments
• Provide ERIKS and customer’s management teams, with required reports, Key Performance Indicators, and feedback to contribute to the effective planning, budgeting, and performance management, within agreed timeframes
• Utilize established preferred sources of supply where possible and where supply chain agreements are not in place, develop supplier relationships that deliver minimized costs within agreed service level commitments
• Responsible for their own, their staff, and visitor’s health and safety within their operation, for the promotion of health and safety in line with ERIKS and their Customer’s Health and Safety policies and procedures. Managers are responsible for reporting all cases of non-conformance
• Ensure Ethics & compliance with all the company’s applicable management systems policies and procedures
• Ensure that reporting team members have clearly defined roles and objectives and that they are developed and motivated to achieve the required standards of performance

• Possess at least a Degree in Operation, Supply Chain Management or Engineering

(but good relevant job experience will be considered, especially business development skills)

• Minimum of 5 years of operational experience, especially in warehouse inventory and operations management.
• Experience in business development or management experience will be a plus.
• Knowledge of industrial consumables / MRO market and products and their applications will be an added advantage.
• Proficient user of Windows-based programs.
• Experience in fully integrated systems(ERP) based on sales order processing and stock management systems such as SAP systems.

• Supports and challenges the top management of Asian markets through the strategic planning and reviewing process
• Supports on the planning and execution of strategic projects
• Supports on Food services distribution (FSD) related M&A projects with providing expert knowledge to a commercial assessment of the underlying target company and an indication on the synergy potential (e.g., purchasing, assortment, logistics and customers).
• Supports the integration of acquired Food services distribution companies into parent company along functional interfaces and supports the realization of synergies based on the value creation plan
• Delivers a monitoring of the general business performance, a tracking of the Strategy Plans and seeks for optimization levers for Asian markets
