Position Requirements

The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall operation, management, and profitability of the restaurant. They lead the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, maintain operational excellence, and achieve financial goals. The GM ensures that all activities align with the restaurant's vision, standards, and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Management

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and adherence to restaurant standards.
• Monitor food quality, hygiene, and customer service standards.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, including health, safety, and licensing requirements.
• Develop and maintain operating policies and procedures.

2. Team Leadership and Development

• Recruit, train, and manage staff, including Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) teams.
• Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and staff engagement.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Address staff concerns and resolve conflicts effectively.

3. Financial Management

• Prepare and manage budgets, including monitoring costs and revenue streams.
• Analyze sales reports and develop strategies to achieve financial targets.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering and cost control.
• Implement initiatives to increase profitability, such as upselling and promotions.

4. Customer Experience

• Ensure outstanding customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Gather and act on customer feedback to improve service quality.

5. Marketing and Business Development

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and special events.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners.
• Identify and implement strategies to attract and retain customers.

6. Reporting and Administration

• Generate and analyze operational and financial reports.
• Ensure proper documentation, including staff schedules, incident reports, and regulatory compliance records.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including ownership and management teams.

Key Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant management, with at least 2 years in a General Manager role.

Skills and Competencies

• In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, and customer service standards.

Job Purpose

As a key member of the Finance Team, the individual will be responsible for managing the full set of accounts, handling regulatory filings, and overseeing accounting and finance functions for the family office.

Duties and responsibilities

(1) Finance Operations

• Manage the full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Handle regulatory filings and reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform accounting and finance duties such as investment analysis, proper recording of transactions, payment processing, invoicing, and other duties as relevant.

(2) Budgeting and Reporting

• Maintain budgetary control and prepare detailed investment reports for the family office.
• Provide timely and accurate financial information to management and key stakeholders.

(3) Process and Product Knowledge

• Develop a deep understanding of the organization’s products, services, and processes to enhance financial accuracy and relevance.

(4) Stakeholder Management

• Deliver high-quality client service to internal stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
• Provide timely and accurate financial information to the management and/or other key stakeholders as relevant.

(5) Team Support and Collaboration

• Assist senior members of the finance team with various projects and other ad hoc tasks as needed, contributing to team objectives and efficiency.

Prior Work Experience

• Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Experience working in an investment company or family office is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimally a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or a related field from a reputable university.
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CFA are highly desirable.

• Assertive and confident, with the ability to manage responsibilities effectively.
• Proven ability to work under tight timelines and deliver quality results.
• Excellent communication skills, with the capability to interact and collaborate with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of operators, supervisors and construction site drivers.
• Monitoring performance of sub-contractors and company's employees.
• Allocating sub-contractors, resources, construction materials and other staff.
• Assign various work tasks as required.
• Arrange shift/scheduling of duty roster.
• Handle customers’ complaints, drivers’ and operators’ feedback and problems.
• Coordinate with customers on site requirements and activities.
• Maintaining a safe, secure and healthy work environment by adhering to and enforcing safety codes.
• Work with Compliance Officer and other relevant personnel to update the procedures.
• Ensuring smooth delivery of cargoes to customers/site within schedule.
• To schedule job, set priorities, monitor job progress & tracking schedules, communicate changes on job status.
• Costs projection and budget measures.

• PC literate
• Well organized & able to multi-task
• Capacity to handle pressure.
