o Resolve issues related to construction, engineering, or delays impacting project schedules or budgets.

o Make informed decisions on technical matters to ensure project success.

7. Project Closeout:

o Ensure all deliverables are completed and the project is handed over to the operational team.

o Organize final inspections and the commissioning process.

Key Responsibilities

· Plan, execute, monitor and control project as per contractual, client and QEHS requirements.

· Ensure smooth implementation of work progress so project can be completed on time, within budget and meet contractual & safety standards.

· Manage suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure compliance in terms of QEHS, schedule and cost.

· Define clear roles & responsibilities, and deliverable requirements of team members.

· Monitor construction productivity and provide recommendations for improvement to works.

· Preparation of site progress report and necessary documentation.

· Ensure that all project documentation including emails exchanges are maintained properly

· Report to management periodically on status of project in terms of QEHS, cost and schedule.

· Any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

· Posses degree in civil engineering, construction management or equivalent and safety certificates like CSCPM.

· At least 8 years experience as project manager in building project

· Able to work independently and lead project team

· Proficient in Microsoft Project

· Certified QM/ Conquas Manager would have an added advantage

• Track project expenses and perform cost analysis to minimize budget overruns while maximizing efficiency.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, issues, and resolutions.
• Ensure clear communication of technical details, timelines, and budgetary constraints to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure proper documentation of inspections, certifications, and compliance records.
• Ensure all engineering services meet the required technical specifications and quality standards.
• Oversee the testing, commissioning, and operational readiness of marine systems and structures.
• Oversee the day-to-day activities of marine engineering projects, ensuring smooth coordination between all parties involved.
• Monitor the performance and progress of projects, making adjustments as needed to stay on schedule.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including design changes, approvals, and progress reports.
• Education: Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering.
• Experience: At least 10 years of experience in marine industries, with a solid background in managing Structural, Piping & Insulation projects.
• Flexible to work in shift & site.
