• Working hour: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 6pm (1 hour lunch time)

Key Responsibilities:

• Transporting Goods: Safely drive lorries to transport goods to specified destinations, which may include local, regional, or long-distance routes.
• Route Planning: Plan routes in advance to ensure timely delivery, considering traffic conditions and potential obstacles.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the lorry, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and brakes. Report any issues or repairs needed.
• Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring that it is secured properly to prevent damage during transport.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents. Complete required paperwork for shipments, including bills of lading.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing safety gear and adhering to weight limits and driving laws.

Requirements:

Education and Qualifications:

• License: Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle class.

Experience:

• Prior experience driving lorries or heavy vehicles is often required.
• Familiarity with transport logistics and route planning can be advantageous.

Skills:

• Driving Skills: Proficient in operating lorries, with a strong understanding of vehicle handling and maneuvering.
• Navigation: Ability to use maps, GPS systems, and route planning software effectively.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.
• Communication: Good verbal communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and ensuring cargo is loaded and secured properly.

Working Conditions:

• Lorry drivers may work irregular hours, including nights and weekends, and may spend long hours on the road away from home.
• The job may involve exposure to varying weather conditions and physical demands related to loading and unloading cargo.

Job Descriptions

· Prepare, load, deliver and unload products to outlets & customers in a safe and timely manner.

· Pick up and drop off products according to assigned routes and delivery time schedule.

· Collect cash/cheque or obtain customer's signatures when needed.

· Ensure the vehicle is well maintained at all times and send it for servicing when required.

· Manage & maintain the store room tidy and clean.

· Support in outlet/production duties when required.

· Perform other related ad-hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

· Minimum 2 year experiences in driving a lorry.

· Possess valid Singapore Class 3 License.

· Familiar with routes in Singapore.

· Able to load and unload goods up to 15kg independently.

Job Requirements

- Singaporeans And PR

- Possess Class 4 driving license

- Prefer familiar with Singapore roads to daily deliveries & terminal loadings (Training will be provided)

- Forklift license is added advantage (Non Vital, Courses will be arranged)

- Able to speak English & write basic English for communications purpose & checking of DO

- Willing to do overtime if necessary

- 5.5 working days per week
