Job Description

The Junior Product Manager is responsible for guaranteeing the success of a specific product or product features. Prior to production, they create the roadmap to guide a product from conception through design and into wide release.

This role reports to the Product and QA Manager, based in Singapore.

Role and Responsibilities

• Build revolutionary end-to-end products
• Define features, write product specifications, iterate on feedback, make data-driven decisions
• Analyse product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they are met
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development
• Drive products and/or features that adds user & business value
• Prioritise initiatives and projects appropriately
• Highlight potential risks or malfunctions and act proactively to resolve issues
• Perform market research and analysis
• Understand and plan out requirements from the various stakeholders
• Research in products and competitor analysis

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in complete product life-cycle management, such as product goals, driving requirements, and product launch
• Experience in tech or Fintech related service company would be advantageous
• Knowledge in agile methodologies
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Well versed with the design thinking process
• Experience with project and product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma, or other similar tools
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and experience in facilitation
• Familiarity with responsive, adaptive or native design and mobile development processes.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
• Proactive in improving skills

Roles & Responsibilities

• Business Development and Projects Tendering
• Manage Submarine and underground cable projects
• Attend site visits and tender meetings and prepare responses to clarifications
• Explore new potential customers and maintain good relationships with existing customers
• Ownership and management of the customer experience and relationship management
• Technical support for Cable Laying & Termination works
• Involved in site projects assigned
• Collaborate with project team and partners including in the formulation and execution of agreements
• Work closely with the customers, partners, and suppliers on project implementation activities and follow up regularly to get all activities completed on time

Requirements

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in the related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task.
• Superior interpersonal skills are required to work with suppliers, partners, customers, and internal departments for managing the project.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Travel may be required within the region or other regions to assist at various sites.
• Must have good communications skills and be able to lead a team Work with project team and report to HQ in Korea.
• Proficiency in Korean is essential.
