Training Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of training programs within the operations. This role involves identifying training needs, designing effective training programs, and ensuring employees have the skills and necessary knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.

Job Description:

1. Training Assessment (Evaluation and Improvement)

• Conduct regular assessments to identify training and development needs within the organization
• Continuously improving training content and delivery methods based on feedback and emerging best practices
• Work with department heads to determine specific skills gaps and development areas
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics
• Analyze data (e.g. Speed of Service, Guest Feedback, Restaurant Visitation Report (RVR)) to identify operational problems and create training solutions

2. Program Development & Training

• Design, develop and implement training programs that address identified needs to align with operational objectives, including on-the-job training
• Create training materials, manuals, and documentations to support training initiatives
• Deliver and oversee on-the-job training
• Facilitate and conduct training sessions, workshops/seminars using a variety of instructional techniques (e.g. in-person/e-learning/webinars)
• Coordinate and oversee external trainers or training vendors when necessary

3. Other Responsibilities

• Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the operations team
• Supervise and mentor a team of training specialists or coordinators within the operations team
• Manage the training budget, including sourcing and negotiating with external training providers
• Track and report on training expenditures

Requirements:

i. Proven experience in learning and development, preferably in the F&B or services-related industry

ii. ACLP, ACTA or related certified trainer certifications

iii. Have at least 6 years of working experiences in training & development role with managerial or supervisory capacity.

iv. Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories

v. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

vi. Proficiency in using Learning Management System (LMS) and e-learning software

vii. Analytical skills to assess training needs and evaluate program effectiveness

viii. Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Construction Manager in condominium /mixed development projects ;

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plan
• Maintain productive relationship with customers and Internal team.
• Ensure projects scope, schedule is being tracked and executed till the completion stage.
• Strong software background in Bentley Open Building Designer, Open Plant, ProjectWise, Navisworks and Civil3D
• Generate and implementation of BIM Models at all phases of the projects, using both company or client standards and developing new templates when required
• Understanding and proactively implementing the required LOD, and COBie data at each of the project stages, as per project-specific requirements
• Perform model audits and create optimization strategies to keep our project teams productive.
• Attend and chair VDC and technical meetings with Clients, Consultants and Sub-contractors and prepare necessary documentation.
• Perform quality control on all models provided by BIM coordinators/authors on the project
• Works closely with project team in coordinating, organizing and producing of construction drawings and documentations using BIM Technologies
• Coordinate and collaborate with all parties within the Contract and interfacing contracts’ BIM Managers and / or BIM Coordinators.
• Establish, implement, and facilitate clash detection analysis to identify, resolve and validate all design and construction conflicts within the Contract and Interfacing Parties.
• Update, manage, monitor, and track all model changes.
• Ensure models / drawings accuracy based on BIM standards and BIM project workflow criteria / checklist.
• Understand the SLDs and P&IDs to verify the BIM Model quality and outputs.
• Explore innovation and encourage the use of advanced tools / technologies to expand the use of BIM within the company.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 6+ years of professional experience and minimum 2 years of experience in Process Plants and Industrial projects.
• In-depth experience within a work-sharing environment (CDE) and demonstrate experience using 3D coordination software.
• Expert knowledge with proven practical application of Revit Architecture and integration with the Autodesk Suite.
• Ability to communicate effectively with construction field personnel, architects, engineers and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of Civil 3D, 4D/5D and Bentley platform will be an added advantage.
• Must be capable of directing the work of others, maintaining tight timeframes, and working constructively with the clients.
• The individual should have excellent leadership and communication skills

• Positive working attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Industry BIM Certification (Revit Professional, BCA Certification) is preferred
