Job Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Building or its equivalent
• 10 years and above experience as deputy contracts/contracts manager in main-con companies
• Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders
• Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines

Job Responsibilities:

• Scavenging for sales by means of cold-calling and visiting clients
• Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects recommending solutions
• Enhance value-added selling approach & responsible for driving revenue growth and assist in formulating sales strategies
• Follow up on business leads/referrals
• Follow-up on clients' payment
• Coordinate jobs between Clients and Operations
• Develop new accounts & grow customer base
• To meet monthly Sales target
• Manage, maintain & build rapport with existing clientele base
• Creating branding and product awareness for client.

Requirements:

1. With relevant experience will be an added advantage
2. At least 1 to 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
3. Good to have Class 3/3A License (Own transport would be a plus point.)
4. Able to travel out to meet clients by means of public transport
5. Possess strong negotiation and selling skills
6. Has good connection in the Contractor, Interior Designer & Direct Owners would be an advantage.
7. Knowledge in the timber industry be an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership:
   • Lead and manage the inspection team to ensure high-quality inspection services.
   • Mentor and train team members to enhance skills and knowledge.
2. Client Engagement:
   • Attend meetings with clients to understand project requirements, timelines, and expectations.
   • Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding inspection services.
3. Code Compliance:
   • Ensure all inspections comply with national and international codes and standards (e.g., AWS, BSEN, API, SAC).
   • Stay updated on changes to relevant codes and standards.
4. Inspection Planning:
   • Develop and implement inspection plans and schedules.
   • Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
5. Quality Assurance:
   • Oversee routine inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
   • Implement corrective actions for any non-compliance issues.
6. Reporting:
   • Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation for client review.
   • Analyze inspection data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
7. Continuous Improvement:
   • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the inspection team.
   • Implement best practices and innovative inspection techniques.
8. Risk Management:
   • Identify potential risks associated with inspection processes and develop mitigation strategies.
   • Ensure that safety protocols are enforced during all inspection activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in inspection management, specifically in structural steel and welding inspection.
• Technical certifications (e.g., AWS, CSWIP, IIW) are required.
• Familiarity with national and international codes and standards, including AWS, BSEN, API, and SAC.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with project management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in inspection technologies and tools.
