As the Manager of Software Implementation & Vessel Performance, your pivotal role within the technical department revolves around ensuring the successful implementation of new Ship Management Software across all ships and shore offices. Your primary responsibility lies in providing comprehensive training to all company employees, including both shore and ship staff, enabling them to proficiently utilize the various modules and functions of the Ship Management Software.

Furthermore, you will actively work to decrease overall energy consumption on board vessels through a range of measures. These measures encompass monitoring the hull condition, conducting regular follow-ups with vessels to optimize fuel consumption of various machineries on board. Additionally, you will actively engage with various class and flags for the submission of crucial data, such as IMO DCS, EU MRV, etc., in compliance with relevant regulations. There are two main areas you will be responsible for:

Training and Implementation of Ship Management software:

• Ensuring data (i.e.spares, jobs, class, inventory, location and machinery planned maintenance system (MPMS certification) are accurately built, mapped and maintained in the PMS module.

• Coordination of trainers, participants, facilities, equipment and other resources
• Coordination of site administration (classroom delivery), i.e. securing practical arrangements in collaboration with local support (material preparation, participant logistics, catering, etc...)
• Monitor training related pre- and post- work
• Collection, consolidation and sharing of participants and facilitator feedback
• Continuously follow up up on certification and recertification activities for customer facing staff to ensure compliance
• Support audits by retrieving training data upon request

Support development & users in Learning Management System (LMS)

• First line LMS support for learners, trainers, managers and various Academy roles
• Act as LMS trainer for the various roles when required
• Manage requests from External Partners for LMS access
• Take part in development & testing of new functionatliy in LMS

Requirements:

• Previous experience from training operations or administrations

About You

You are a passionate badminton player with loads of experience playing, competing and coaching. You are good with kids and enjoy meeting new people. Reliability is a key trait of yours and you are comfortable working independently, as well as in a team.

Scope

- Plan training programs for badminton students of various ages, backgrounds and playing levels, understanding their varied goals

- Work with the team to script/film badminton tutorials and YouTube videos, as well as content for other platforms

- Work with the operations and sales team to coordinate class attendance

- Interview and assess junior and assistant coaches

- Ad hoc-tasks as required

Requirements

- Solid experience playing badminton competitively

- Ex-national or state players strongly preferred

- Have attended formal, structured competitive badminton training

- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field

- 3 years of relevant experience in sports coaching, which must include badminton coaching

The Responsibilities:

• Assist the AP team in receiving & processing daily invoices, claims, petty cash, etc.
• Support in monthly closing including recording recurring transactions, posting accruals, etc., to ensure consistency in reporting.
