Overview and Objective of the Position

The Marketing Officer will work collaboratively with the Marketing and Admissions team in the execution and evaluation of marketing strategies that contribute to growth of domestic student enrolments at Curtin Singapore.

The IT Support Officer will ensure the integrity and stability of in-house ICT systems that support key organisational functions across the client business. 1. Job Description

• Uphold the vision and mission of PERTAPIS.
• Responsible for the overall administrative support for HOH and Deputy HOH at the Home.
• Maintain and keep up to date all relevant documentations pertaining to licensing requirements.
• Responsible to collate all staff roster for payroll, claims and daily status submissions to HQ upon HOH approval.
• Prepare and keep records of all MSRF documentations for the Home.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings, invitations, engagement sessions and visits for the Home Management with agencies, institutions, partners and Pertapis centres.
• Collate, maintain and update calendar of events for programmes, meetings, engagement sessions and visits.
• Organise, maintain and update all staff training records for licensing purposes and to liase with HQ.
• Coordinate with HQ HR for new hire interviews and any meetings with existing staff at the Home.
• Submit any relevant documentations to HQ on behalf of the Home Management (ie; staff minutes of meeting etc).
• Assist the Home Management to write in requests for fundings, appeals and invitations to agencies, stakeholders and partners.
• Maintain and update the administrative matters for Cab Charge usage and liaise with HQ.
• Manage the admin matters for the Home stationary orders periodically and liaise with HQ.
• Support all PERTAPIS programmes and activities as assigned by the management.
• Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Home Management and Higher management as and when required.

• A Level/Diploma with relevant working experience
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Weekend Shifts (Sat & Sun):

AM shift: 9am-12pm

PM: 1.30pm-7.30pm

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching Support:

• Able to guide students in accordance with PSLE and O level English and Chinese syllabus

Customer Service:

• Respond to customer inquiries via email, social media, and messaging platforms (e.g., WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram).
• Address customer concerns and provide accurate, timely solutions to build and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Manage and resolve customer complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
• Record and update customer interactions in the CRM system.

Marketing Support:

• Assist in executing digital marketing campaigns, including creating and scheduling social media posts.
• Monitor and engage with customers on social media platforms to enhance brand visibility.
• Conduct basic research for market trends, competitors, and audience engagement strategies.
• Support the creation of simple marketing materials such as newsletters, flyers, and basic graphics (training can be provided if necessary).

Administrative Tasks:

• Maintain accurate records of customer queries and sales leads.
• Assist in managing online advertising responses and coordinating follow-ups.
• Provide regular updates and reports on customer feedback and campaign results.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Familiar with PSLE and O-level English and Chinese syllabus
• Need to be strong in taking social media visuals (photos and reels)
• Required to communicate and build relationships with parents and students
• Able to commit full days every Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 7.30 pm
• Coordinate with teachers, parents and students on timetabling and other operational, business and admin matters
• Advise customers on suitable courses, having sales experience will be a bonus
• IT savvy and well versed with Zoom, Google Meet and Google Workspace
• Able to relief English/Chinese classes when required
• Able to assist in all other ad hoc matters

Responsibilities:

Publishing Operations:

· Apply for a printing press license with government regulations.

· Develop frameworks and guidelines for incorporating publications into educational programs or curricula.

· Lead the planning, development, and market positioning of publications, ensuring alignment with market trends and organizational goals.

· Supervise editorial, design, and production workflows to maintain high-quality standards and meet publication deadlines.

· Inspire and guide the editorial team by setting clear objectives, fostering professional growth, and promoting a collaborative work environment.

· Work closely with departments such as marketing, design, and copyright to guarantee seamless execution of publishing projects.

· Monitor industry trends and technological advancements, exploring innovative formats like eBooks, audiobooks, and interactive digital content.

· Identify opportunities for process enhancements, driving innovation and maintaining a competitive edge in the publishing industry.

Curriculum Development:

· Design and develop high-quality educational content, programs, and materials tailored to IB Chinese learners and aligned with relevant academic standards.

· Collaborate with the team to create engaging and effective curriculum materials.

· Evaluate and update existing educational content to ensure its relevance, accuracy, and alignment with evolving learner needs.

· Oversee the implementation of digital learning tools and resources, ensuring accessibility and usability for diverse learners.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Publishing, Journalism, Chinese Studies, Education, Media, or a related field.

· A minimum of 2 years of experience in the publishing industry, with proven expertise in Chinese book editing, planning, and publishing workflows.

· Experience in curriculum development or instructional design, with the ability to create learner-focused educational materials.

· Exceptional project management abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities and delivering results under tight deadlines.

· In-depth understanding of the publishing and education markets with the ability to anticipate reader and learner preferences.

• PERTAPIS SENIOR CITIZENS FELLOWSHIP HOME's mission is to meet the demands of destitute elderly regardless of race or creed. Residents enjoy the interaction with their peers while maintaining their independence through their daily routines. We provide medical care & activities programs to improve both physical and mental wellbeing.

2. Job Description

• Ensure that all residents comply with the rules and regulations of the Home.
• Responsible for safety and well-being of the residents.
• Ensure that periodic and random spot-checks are done for residents’ lockers, and to remove contraband. items that might be harmful to residents.
• Record any forms of behavioural and non-compliance issues.
• Ensure printing of necessary documents for colleagues’ use.
• Ensure that the toilet is always kept clean and dry, toilet fittings to be inspected to ensure they are in good condition and safe for use.
• Ensure that the kitchen is always kept clean and dry, waste bins must have an inner plastic liner and kept closed at all times. Ensure that waste does not overspill due to being full and to be disposed daily.
• All food must be covered and preparation must be done on the cabinets or tables.
• To conduct ‘Resident Satisfaction Survey’ every 6 months or when necessary and gather feedback for improving service standards and delivery.
• To update the ‘Occurrence Book’ on residents’ movements and any major concerns they might have.
• To write incident reports professionally and such documents to be properly filed.
• To ensure that sharp objects such as knives, scissors and cutleries must be kept away from residents and locked after use.
• Support all PERTAPIS programmes and activities as assigned by the management.
• Carry out any other tasks assigned by the HOH.

3. Job Requirements

• N Level, O Level, Nitec/Higher Nitec & Diploma.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Able to work on rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays.
• Matured, good interpersonal skills and has passion working with senior citizens.
