Training Officer - Special needs

(Day Activity Centre)

• Location: Marine Terrace
• 5 Working Days [ Mon-Fri, 8.30am to - 5.30pm]
• Salary: S$ 2,600 - 3,000

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, coordinate, and implement planned daily programme and its activities
• Daily supervision, assisting and monitoring members in the various activities both outside or within the centre, and ensuring safety of all members and volunteers
• Purchase and preparation of daily tea breaks and lunch for members and volunteers
• Support and evaluate growth of members and to plan appropriate development plans for members based on their needs and abilities with inputs from i

• Assess new members on their trial, identify their needs and potential, and to write post-trial evaluation report
• Carry out behaviour support plans
• Work with member’s families as required and to keep them updated regarding their child / ward progress
• Work with and train volunteers to better assist and engage members in their development
• Maintain administrative work such as daily attendance taking, records of daily programmes, temperature taking, monthly centre report, incident reports, etc.

Requirement

• Minimum O Levels / Diploma in related field
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Experience with special needs children is an advantage
