The Manager, Training & Projects will oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs for ambulance personnel, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Reporting to the General Manager, Ambulance Services, this role is instrumental in driving operational excellence through effective training and skills development. The incumbent will also be required to provide operational support as a paramedic during manpower shortages and assist in event management when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Certification Management and Compliance

• Obtain and maintain certifications such as WSQ (Advanced Certificate in Learning & Performance, Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment) and SRFAC certifications.
• Ensure all training programmes comply with organisational and regulatory standards.
• Monitor the validity of certifications for participants and arrange for renewals or recertification as required.

Course Design, Training Effectiveness and Reporting

• Develop comprehensive course syllabi and outlines tailored to meet organizational needs and industry best practices.
