About the job
As the Board Secretary, you will play a key role in supporting on a wide range of corporate governance matters, ranging from attending board and sub-committee meetings, writing minutes, advising on company law and regulations, to preparing corporate governance documents and maintaining statutory filings. This role will also double-hat to assist on data protection compliance matter, where you will work closely with cross-functional teams to craft policies, manage risks and maintain as the main liaison person for relevant authorities.

Skills and experience required
Ideally, you are ICSA/ SAICSA/ CGQP qualified with at least 8 years of corporate secretarial experience gained in corporate service providers or in an in-house environment. Strong working knowledge in managing corporate secretarial matters for Company Limited by Guarantee is a pre-requisite for this role. Prior experience in the Education sector will be highly regarded. Prior data privacy experience is not required. As a confident self-starter, you are able to partner and advise the Board of Trustees and senior management on governance best practices and regulations.
