The Research Assistant will be responsible for working closely with the Principal Investigator on one or more research projects. In particular, the research assistant is expected to have solid HCI skills including user study, interviews, usability testing, prototyping, workshop. It is a plus if the RA has hands-on research experience with virtual reality & augmented reality and machine learning system, and/or a strong publication record in top venues.

Qualifications

• A BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science or related field

Job Requirements:

Education:

• A recognized university degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, biochemistry, ergonomics, occupational safety, occupational health or occupational hygiene.
• Registered WSH Officer.

Training:

• Must have attended and completed recognized Lead auditor course in ISO 45001:2018.
• Successfully completed the Graduate Certificate in WSH under the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) Framework for WSH Professionals (Level “D”).

Work Experience:

• At least 5 years of full-time experience .
• At least 3 years of practical experience relevant to the work to be performed by an auditor.

Audit Experience:

• Minimum total of 20 Days of Audit Experience in the relevant scheme.
• 15 days on-site audit experience in the relevant scheme.

Knowledge:

• Good, demonstrated knowledge of learning theory and how people learn (as evidenced by Certificate in Education, Train the Trainer Certificate, etc.).

Requirements

• Must have attained a WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment (ACTA) or Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP).
• Must Possess a non-expired BCLS+AED Chief Instructor Certificate.
• Should preferably possess a minimum of one year of training experience in First aid related courses.
• Possessing the First Aid Trainer the Trainer (FA-TTT) and Standard First Aid Provider certificates will be an added advantage.

Job Scope
