Position Summary
LSEG World-Check is seeking a Lead Research Analyst to join our team. We are looking for candidates with a niche background or experience in political risk. The candidate should be able to work independently and optimally under pressure to complete quick turnaround assignments. The ability to convey careful judgment and sophisticated information in a concise, impartial and accessible manner to clients is essential. This is an opportunity for a candidate to work on intellectually diverse team of open source analysts.

Responsibilities
Conduct research on terrorism, organized crime, trafficking, wildlife trafficking, cybercrime and threat finance research.
Analyse a range of data sources in local languages to produce reports and content updates.
Maintain a level of regional and portfolio country expertise by supervising breaking news for developments.
Research and extract data from all sources, ensure accuracy and quality of findings by following policies and laws.
Provide status updates on research projects to manager.
Effectively collaborate with teams across offices in time zones.

Qualifications
Must possess keen attention to detail, research, writing and analytical skills, and enjoy investigations to uncover difficult to access information
Knowledge of political and threat finance issues in Turkey.
Proven experience including internships, research assistantships, and independent projects that rely on both qualitative and quantitative skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to multi-task and prioritize efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Native level proficiency in Turkish is helpful.

Education/Certifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred in international relations, political science, security studies, history, foreign languages, or other humanities fields. Outstanding graduates in other fields or those with validated experience will be considered.

The services required are set out as follows:

i.The staff will prepare training materials, implement, evaluate, and review the training programs for school students in alignment with school’s strategic plan and philosophy.

ii.The staff should be proficient in Google Workspace like Google Classroom, Docs, Sites and more, and the usage of iPad apps such as Procreate.

iii.The staff should be knowledgeable with productivity software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and the use of different AI tools such as ChatGPT.

iv.The staff should be able to conduct ICT lessons on the use of the apps in Google Workspace, iPad applications such as Procreate, e-portfolio creation using Google Site, and MS Office for our students.

v.The staff will prepare teaching materials/resources, exercises, and projects for the students together with the teachers for the ALP curriculum on needs basis.

vi.The staff will assist to manage, survey, monitor, and evaluate the progress of ICT projects/assignments such as the National Digital Explorer (NDE) and Code For Fun (CFF) and AI programmes.

vii.The staff will assist in the execution of Personalised Digital Learning Programme (PDLP) in the school such as to conduct the training for students and student champions on use of their Personal Learning Devices (iPads), liaising and working closely with appointed supplier and resolving any device issues experienced by students.

viii.The staff will assist to promote good data management habits to staff and students such as regularly backing up data and data housekeeping.

ix.The staff will provide administrative support for the ICT department.

x.The staff will support the school in promoting the use of the Google Classroom, Google Calendar and Google Sites which includes conducting the required training for students.

xi.The staff will support the school in promoting the use of the Microsoft Teams and Microsoft OneDrive which includes conducting the required training for staff and students.

xii.The staff will work closely with teachers and providing advice/suggestions in software usage and other ICT related issues.

xiii.The staff will train and support teachers and students on the use of the apps and software mentioned earlier for teaching and learning.

xiv.The staff will support teachers by providing videography support during lesson observations when needed, and creating videos for school events, staff training and sharing purposes.

xv.The staff will provide event coverage using photography/videography, as well as AVA support for school events.

xvi.The staff will train student leaders and assist with managing and operating of AVA equipment as part of the AVA CCA.

The staff will assist in managing the school website.

FOR HR :

Handle full spectrum of HR duties.

• Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.

• Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counselling employees and supervisors

• Good in Payroll (Using: Time Access) for office and Factory including CPF & Annual income tax submission IR8A

• Coordinates recruitment & selection process, including induction activities.

• Administration of workers movements such as resignations, transfers, promotion, benefits and overseas travel claims

• Handle all work passes related application in WP Online and EP Online

• Handle employees' medical insurance, workmen injury compensation & group hospitalization

• Organize company events, staff communication and HR improvement projects

• Attendance Report, Leave Forms updates, etc

• Prepare monthly reports and HR statistics and Expatriate management

• In charge for receptionist (pick-up call, order stationeries/pantry stuffs)

• Other ad-hoc HR duties as assigned

FOR FINANCE:

- Purchase Invoice accounting, payment to supplier

- Custodian of Cash and Bank Payments and Bank Reconciliation

- Other tasks as assigned.

Requirement:

- Diploma in Accountancy/Business Administration

- Minimum 1 to 2 years accounting experience in financial accounting/HR
