• Working closely with other simulator subsystem teams, to ensure proper integration with the various simulator subsystem components (e.g. communication systems, networking, bots, etc).
• Generating engineering documentation within the team, to document the various requirements, design, and test areas to be developed.
• Overseas travel for training, meetings or deployment can be expected.

Qualities We Value

• At least 3-4 years of experience in related field.
• A willingness to learn a wide array of network and virtualisation technology and technology areas.
• While company-sponsored training courses and guidance will be provided, independent learning and being a team player is required, to fit into the team’s culture.
• Being comfortable to engage and communicate with end users, customers will be a plus.
• Strong knowledge of networking technology is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

• Inspect outgoing and incoming parts per the inspection procedure and specifications, including incoming process checks.
• Authorise the rejection of parts if found unsatisfactory.
• Authorise the release of conforming parts for storage and customer delivery.
• Conduct routine tests and checks on switchboards completed in the workshop.
• Test and commission switchboards on vessels or on-site to meet customer satisfaction, and address warranty claims or quality complaints.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the QA department.
• Identify issues and suggest or implement solutions to problem detected.
• Follow Quality Management System procedures for effective implementation and control
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned by superior.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Training will be provided for candidate without / with less experience

He/She also engages in professional development and reflective practice, under the guidance of his/her leaders.
