SJI International Elementary School is seeking a passionate and collaborative Learning Support Teacher to join our vibrant team starting in July 2025. The role involves working with students aged 4 to 12 years through in-class support and individualised pull-out interventions. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and delivering differentiated learning strategies to meet diverse student needs.

Job Purpose

• Collaborate with Homeroom and other teachers in planning for Learning Support

Collaboration and Relationship Management

• Organise and manage groups or individual students whilst promoting high standards of behaviour and discipline

Qualifications, Skills, Experience

1. A PhD degree in Electrical Engineering

2. Fundamental knowledge on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Error Correction Coding, and Signal Processing

3. Python and Matlab programming skills

4. Fluent in both written and oral English

Working days: 4.5 days work week(2.5 weekdays and 2 weekends)
Location: Serangoon(HQ), Bukit Timah, Tampines
Salary: $2800 - $4500

Responsibilities:

• Teaching English Language to students(pri/sec) using company’s proprietary teaching methodologies.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to enhance their language skills.
• Develop effective and engaging curriculum materials to cater to students’ needs, interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a positive and conducive classroom environment that fosters learning and discipline.
• Build rapport and establish positive relationships with students and their parents / guardians.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development programmes to stay abreast of the latest education trends and technologies.
• Collaborate with colleagues and share best practices to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma or Degree Holder
• Good credit in GCE O-Level English (A1 / A2) or GCE A-Level General Paper (B) / IB equivalent subject
• Up to 10 classes per week
