Job Responsibilities
· Manage the processing of graduate admission applications in a timely and efficient manner.
· Assist in screening applications by reviewing supporting documents for completeness.
· Maintain and update the admissions database with accurate applicant information.
· Draft and send communications to applicants regarding application status, deadlines, and required documentation.
· Respond to email inquiries related to admission processes, providing clear and accurate information to prospective students.
· Work closely with other departments to facilitate a smooth admissions process.
· Prepare, review, and verify offer and rejection letters to ensure consistency and accuracy in communications with applicants.
· Ensure all documentation related to admissions is properly filed and maintained for audit purposes.
· Prepare as well as conduct thorough accuracy checks on enrolment and intake statistics to ensure data integrity.
· Perform accuracy checks on admissions data migrated to the new System, ensuring that all information has been accurately transferred and is up-to-date.
· Validate matriculation records migrated to the System, confirming that all records are accurate and complete.
· Ensure the accuracy of student records migrated to the new System, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
· Assist with any other duties as assigned by management to support the overall functioning of the Graduate Admissions team.
Requirements:
· At least a Bachelor’s Degree with Relevant experience in academic or education field is preferred but not required
· Meticulous, strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
· Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and produce quality results on time with attention to details
· Good written and oral communication skills
· Good interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and effectively in a team
· IT savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel
