Responsibilities:

Learning & Development

• Identify and assess the training needs of the organization through job analysis, career path and consultation with function heads.
• Identify areas for improvement in the training process and implement changes to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
• Ability to develop/create individualized and group training programs/ curriculum that address specific business needs to meet organization goals and improve performance.
• Deliver timely and effective trainings based on annual training plans and review the progress regularly.
• Organize and conduct company induction program for new hires.
• Perform training administration and maintain training records, including tracking attendance, training completion and training evaluation feedback.
• Administer training grant applications and claims in timely manner.

• Design and implement dynamic Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
• Engage with the AltSchool community, including families, to establish trust and communication channels

Typical Expectations

• Embrace a hands-on role in delivering and refining high-quality, individualised education
• Support a team of educators, fostering a culture of professional growth and collaboration
• Collaborate with the Centre Manager to ensure operational excellence, coordinate schedules, and maintain high levels of parent engagement
• Work closely with other professionals such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists to create and regularly update holistic educational plans for each student
• Regularly assess student progress, leveraging technology to streamline reporting and adapt strategies
• Actively contribute to a culture of open communication and continuous improvement using our in-house software tools and platforms

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• At least 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in a special education setting, preferably with a leadership background.
• Familiarity with the AEPS (Assessment, Evaluation, and Programming System) for children.
• Additional certification or accreditation in teaching, with a willingness to pursue further specialisation in early intervention is a plus
• Strong proficiency in technology use in education, with the ability to adapt to new platforms
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills, with a passion for driving change in educational practices
