Requirements

• Familiarity with international and local standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI, PUB Singapore regulations)
• Familiarity with mechanical equipment used in WWTPs, including such as screens, pumps, mixers, blower, air compressors, tanks, biogas equipment, odour control system, sludge equipment, piping, and valves, etc
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision, make sound decisions, take independent action, and provide focused solutions to assigned projects

Job Title: Procurement Engineer - Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)

Main Responsibilities:

1. Supplier Sourcing & RFQs:Source potential suppliers in line with project specifications. Send out Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to suppliers and evaluate responses.
2. Vendor Management:Evaluate new and existing suppliers for inclusion in the Approved Vendor List (AVL). Coordinate with vendors for technical clarifications and requirements.
3. Negotiations & Purchase Orders:Perform negotiations with shortlisted suppliers to obtain the best price while ensuring timely delivery. 5. Vendor Training & Product Presentation:Organize training sessions and product presentations from vendors to ensure project teams are informed of key product specifications and details.
6. Delivery & Expediting:Monitor and ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment from vendors. Assist in expediting deliveries when required and coordinate with Finance for invoice-related issues.
7. Return & Replacement:Coordinate with vendors for returns or replacements of defective materials. Issue Purchase Orders (PO) for replacements, as necessary.
8. Documentation & Reporting:Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and report to Supervisor on progress. Ensure all procurement documents are archived and accessible as per company requirements.

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Job Responsibilities:

· Ensure that adequate equipment and facilities are provided for verification of product quality.

· Ensure that all controlled documents are administered effectively.

· Quality control of sub-contractors.

· Daily coordination of all site work activities on Piping, Equipment installation.

· Liaising with Client inspector/Authorized inspector to ensure project requirement is fully achieved through out the project.

· Coordinate with sub-contractor/vendor to resolve quality issues and follow up for corrective actions.

· Carry out verification of purchased products in vendor's premises as specified in contracts.

· Supervise and manage the steel welding procedure and ensure the welding quality.

· Assist on the coordination with temp QP launching sequence for whole viaduct segment.

· Ensure identification and traceability of incoming, in-process finished products.

· Stipulate and control adequate criteria for workmanship.

· Monitoring of all Inspection Records, Material Test Reports and Mill Certificates.

· Ensure that all inspection, test and identifications are carried out according to quality plan or documented procedures.

· Quality check for architectural finishing such as plastering, brick wall and etc.

· Ensure that all nonconforming materials and products are adequately controlled.

· Investigate the cause of the nonconforming products and the corrective action needed to prevent recurrence.

· Ensure that all quality reports and customers' complaints are analyzed with adequate corrective actions taken.

· Ensure that quality records are properly stored and maintained.

· Define quality requirement for service and installation of products.

· Maintain adequate statistical techniques to control product and process quality.

· Check the BCA approved drawing and study for the feasible work for site.

Job Requirements :

· Bachelor's degree in Engeering studied, or a related field

· Mininum10 years QA/QC experiences

· Able to read, understand and interpret technical requirements, quality procedures, drawings, P&ID.

· Detail-oriented and have strong communication skills and able to work with people from all levels.

· Comfortable working within a fast-changing environment, ability to multi-task and cope with ambiguity.

· Independent and a self-starter, with strong personal drive to initiate and implement.

· Good knowledge of documentation procedures.

ACMV Design/Site Engineer - Job Description

1. System Design: Create and optimise air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems, including load calculations and equipment selection.

2. Site Supervision: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of ACMV systems on-site to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.

3. Technical Support: Provide on-site troubleshooting and technical guidance during construction, resolving any issues related to HVAC systems.

4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs and installations adhere to local and international codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE,Green Mark).

5. Project Coordination: Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of ACMV systems into the overall building design.

6. Client Communication: Interface with clients to address their needs, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

7. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, 3-5 years of experience in HVAC design and site supervision, proficiency in design and project management tools, and strong problem-solving skills.

ACMV Engineer Minimum Requirements

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; a diploma with extensive experience may be considered.

2. Professional Accreditation: Registration with the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore; Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP) is advantageous.

3. Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in HVAC or ACMV design, preferably within Singapore.

4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP); strong understanding of Singapore's SS 553, SS 530, and SS 531 standards.

5. Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of local building codes, fire safety regulations, and BCA standards, including Green Mark Certification requirements.

6. Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management abilities.

7. Continuing Education: Commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD) as required by professional bodies like IES or PEB.

RESPONSIBILITY

• Assume a technical expertise in assessing sites, conducting detailed drawings, and estimating Solar project capacity and costs.
• Formulate comprehensive design specifications and functional requirements for the region, ensuring alignment with project needs.
• Complete system designs for projects including site plans, mechanical racking and attachment plans, single-line electrical drawings, specification of balance of system location and interconnection details.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of factors influencing system performance.
• Partner with the O&M Team to evaluate system performance, identify optimization opportunities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform software simulations of solar photovoltaic (PV) system performance & energy production
• Execute design calculations, encompassing voltage drop analysis, fault current assessments, and system optimization strategies.
• Ensure compliance with EPC contract specifications and regulatory requirements, mitigating risks and optimizing project outcomes including on-site engineering support.
• Collaborate closely with contractors to review and approve engineering drawing submissions, maintaining rigorous quality control standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering discipline
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in Solar PV system design / engineering.

RESPONSIBILITY
· Plan and allocate tools, material and manpower for fabrication;
· Ensure that all the technical reviews by engineering team comply with project requirements;
· Coordinate all technical queries with related parties – engineering team, client, vendor etc;
· Assist Project Manager in streamlining work processes;
· Coordinator with team to review all subcontract and supplier shop drawing, product data, samples,
manuals etc for all compliance with contract documents;
· Manage vendor documents for all equipment;
· Monitor and ensure all the vendor equipment delivery are on time, including checks on inspection status and requirement;
· Prepare tender submission, cost estimation and project change request;

*Prepare monthly P&L reporting.

*Able to use AutoCAD – Advance Steel Software.
