JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assist in (i) the design and development of software solutions for Building Management System (BMS) including chiller systems, HVAC, security, fire alarm and etc, (ii) preparation of P&ID diagram related to the chiller system and its BMS, and (iii) In writing, debugging and testing of the code to control and integrate with the existing BMS system.
• Collaborate with engineering team to gather requirements and specification of BMS.
• Develop and maintain manuals of the developed BMS system including codes, logic diagrams and system configurations.
• Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time.

Note: Candidates with substantial relevant experience will be considered for Senior BMS Engineer.

We are seeking for a highly motivated Cloud DevOps Engineer with a strong passion for automation to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in building and managing AWS infrastructure and should be proficient in Infrastructure as Code and automation tools to enhance security, availability, and drive efficiency.

You will be a key technology partner to our customers in the Defence sector to thrive on developing the next breakthrough for the defence and security of Singapore. Working closely with the Solution Architect, Project Manager and Technical Lead, you will be part of a development team to develop, test and deploy system/network infrastructure as part of an overall project implementation.

Be Part of Our Success

• Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like GitLab, Terraform, Sentinel and Ansible.
• Improve efficiency and robustness of Control Tower/Landing Zone pipelines, workflows, Lambda functions and CloudFormation stacks/stacksets.
• Continuously improve operation excellence and efficiency by automating routine tasks using AWS native tools like AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and AWS Systems Manager.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Application engineers to ensure that automation tasks are aligned with business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to AWS resources and infrastructure.
• Implement security measures to protect AWS resources.

Qualities We Value

• 3-5 years of relevant working experience
• Strong technical knowledge on RHEL or Windows Operating System
• Proficient in automation tools like AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and AWS Systems Manager
• Experience in CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code tools like Gitlab, Terraform, CloudFormation and Ansible

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage site projects from conception to completion.
• To assist the project manager in overseeing and project coordination, planning, scheduling as well as site supervision.
• To attend weekly coordination meetings with the team to report work progress and discussion if any.
• Review project plans, specifications and drawings to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• To coordinate with the sub-contractors and supervisors in meeting the approved drawings, design requirements etc.
• Manage & supervise a mix of M&E, ELV, and Civil works etc.
• Manage site technicians and IT personnels to ensure that project timelines, milestones, and deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered to the highest quality standards and meet client expectations.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering or related field
• 6 to 8 years of proven work experience as a Project Engineer or similar role in Mechanical & Engineering industry.

About the Role
