About The Team

The TikTok Data Ecosystem Team has the vital role of crafting and implementing a storage solution for offline data in TikTok's recommendation system, which caters to more than a billion users. Their primary objectives are to guarantee system reliability, uninterrupted service, and seamless performance. Our team works on large-scale recommendation systems for various offerings under TikTok and its affiliates, focusing on developing recommendation algorithms/models/strategies. We are committed to developing cutting-edge solutions for e-commerce recommendation systems.

Responsibilities

- Work on recommendation systems, involving contents of various forms ranging from products, short videos to live streams, with each unified recommendation model fulfilling heterogeneous E-commerce scenarios/goals across multiple countries.

- Optimize e-commerce recommendation models at massive scales, using deep learning/transfer learning/multi-task learning techniques.

The Search team is mainly responsible for the search algorithm innovation and architecture research and development of Douyin, international short video, Jinri Toutiao, Watermelon video and other products, as well as e-commerce, life services and other businesses. Department work:

1. Participate in the research and development of international short video search engines, using cutting-edge machine learning algorithms and massive data to make the most exciting technologies and give users the best search experience;

• AdministeringcAzure cloud-based Infrastructure deployment which includes tasks such as provisioning/de-provisioning of resources, maintaining security posture, user administration, monitoring computing resource utilization, network setup, backup/restore and incident management.
