About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on implementing tools for continuous integration and delivery, managing and administrating environments, and executing maintenance operations with comprehensive environment monitoring. · 10+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in Hadoop, Spark and related technologies (HDFS, Hive, Ranger)

· Strong proficiency in Spark, Scala, and Python for data engineering tasks

· Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration platforms like OpenShift

· Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, Ansible, BitBucket)

· Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk) is a plus

· Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

· Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Day to day operation of managing, administration of all cisco switches and Clearpass on customer site.

• Support operations such as production networks in a hyper-scale and heterogeneous environment.

• Perform deep dives on complex technical issues across networks, ranging from automated tooling to hardware failures and network issues.

• Anticipate potential operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate/minimize.

• Participate and improve escalation and emergency response with detailed postmortem while addressing issues systematically to prevent future occurrences.

• Align with cross-functional relationships with Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Traffic, Logistics, Program Management, and OEM partners to deliver superb operational results and manage the performance of external vendors.

• Escorting of vendors when needed.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent

• Experience in a System Integration environment and/or implementing Network systems is a plus

• Familiar and experienced in Palo Alto Firewall and Clearpass

• Certification in Network related products will be a plus.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to explain technology from a customer perspective

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
