IT Infrastructure Engineer You will be part of the Managed Services team. Your responsibilities include technical administration, maintenance and troubleshooting. You are expected to work with our client to ensure IT Support Services are delivered based on agreed service level definition, much to the satisfaction of both customers & company. Managing customer’s expectation is part of your job scope, which required of you to work closely with external & internal project team members. You are expected to be a fast learner, to acquire technical implementation skill as and when needed due to business requirements. You need to have a strong analytical and problem-solving skill, so as to excel in supporting our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor condition of server, apps and security measures

• Identify, log and resolve technical problems of the scope (Incident Management)

• Ensure that work is carried out within agreed service levels (Service Request / Incident / Change / Patch Management)

• Respond to site to troubleshoot, diagnose and rectify faults

• Liaise and coordinate the recovery of systems

As a member of the Solace Support team, you will take ownership of issues, using your product expertise to assist customers in isolating faults and identifying the root cause of issues. You will be the interface between our customers and our development team, helping to ensure product defects are resolved in a timely fashion.

This is a highly technical position. You must be excited by technology, an independent learner and eager to stay up to date in a rapidly evolving environment. The candidate must be highly focused on providing exceptional service to our customers and partners. You will be working alongside some of the best coder/infrastructure engineer/hackers turned support specialists in the industry. Required Skills:

• At least 10 years’ experience in a technical role (software development, technical support, QA etc.)
• 8+ years working with Solace technology
• Programming experience in at least one of: Java, C, or .NET

Duties to Be Performed:

The Senior Chemical Engineer will work on designing, tendering, and monitoring the installation of bulk gas and special gas systems for industrial properties in semiconductors, electronics, biopharma, and related industries. The gas systems include bulk gases, high-purity inert gases, flammable gases, corrosive gases, hazardous gases, and related distribution networks.

The Senior Chemical Engineer will collate the client’s capacity requirements and specifications and prepare the conceptual design, make a detailed design for system capacity, configuration, schematic, P&ID, PFD, layout, distribution, and system parameters, and prepare documents like the scope of work, reports, specifications, standards, logistics, and detailed drawings for tender. He or she will review proposals from contractors and continue to support them during installation when required.

The successful candidate will work closely with other disciplines such as architects, civil, cleanroom, electrical, automation, mechanical, and construction engineers, as well as CAD/ BIM designer in designing and delivering the project.

Job / Skills Requirement:

You should have a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or equivalent.

You should have sound experience in designing high-purity, and specialty gases and systems related to semiconductors manufacturing or similar facilities. You should be able to comprehend clients’ URS, and design with concept design, schematics, PFDs, P&IDs, routing layout, the scope of work, specifications, and functional descriptions. The experience in designing chemical systems will be definite added advantage.

Your familiarity with the Semi standards and Singapore standards, manufacturing tools, materials, and CAD/ BIM will be an added advantage.

You should be able to make presentations to clients and engineers on design, tendering, project execution, supervising progress, and quality of work.

Able to work independently.

Able to travel / relocate.

Responsibilities

· Understand customer demands, challenges, and objectives through assessments, information gathering and Customers, technology/industrial engagements

· Collaboration with sales & business development, product & engineering stakeholders including analyse and selection of appropriate hardware, software, and services to create the winning solution offering to customer and markets
