Assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a manufacturing organization

Organizes, coordinates, and supervises employees and activities within the fabrication department to ensure an effective and efficient fabrication operation that meets safety, quality, and production standards. Reports to Plant Manager.

Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products

Utilize handheld tools such as a hand held screw gun, drill gun, and grinders

Operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other welding hand tool

Maintain weld machines using preventative maintenance methods Continually evaluate weld machine performance and technology to improve cycle times

Maintain inventory of manufacturing product and welding consumables

Create specific weldment set-ups and fixturing to meet geometric requirements

Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards

Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified

Rework and/or repair welded parts and products according to engineering specification changes

Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures

Prioritize work flow through effective communication with management staff

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Engineering Project Managers are pivotal in steering complex engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring that technical solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders

Developing detailed project plans that outline specific engineering tasks, timelines, and resource allocations

Coordinating cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and technical staff to ensure project milestones are met

Managing project budgets, including cost estimation, budget tracking, and financial reporting

Continuously updating project documentation and maintaining accurate records for all project-related information
